Bitcoin.com revealed that an international organization called SWIFT( Society for world wide for interbank financial telecommunication) said that money laundering through Crypto currencies is so far insignificant as money laundering via traditional or fiat currencies still remain a very big problem to the global economy.

The organization revealed that UN office of drugs and crimes stated about $800 billion to $2 trillion equivalent to about 5% of global GDP of fiat currencies are being launder yearly.

The organization also revealed that Zcash and monero are likely potential privacy coins that will trigger Crypto currencies laundering.

The anonymous nature of cryptos is it's major undoing. Scammers explore these loopholes to steal coins easily and it's very difficult or almost impossible to recover this stolen coins unlike Fiat currencies.

You may be right because we have seen lots of prosecution of people involved in money laundering in different part of the world because they are traced but Crypto currency has been difficult but may be with KYC something can be done or if Binance is able to trace the stolen funds from etherbase we can learn from that.

Well I think this is probably because the launderers are not yet too familiar with cryptocurrency activities as with fiat currency which they have known techniques to cover the tracks .

It is normal and that is why people don't need to be rush and if one is trying to encourage people to invest in cryptocurrency be sure to tell them about the risk involved in it so that they can learn better and effectively.

That's what im saying.. as far as there's people who uses crypto currency to do illegal activities ..there are far more that uses fiat. And any currency.. crypto or.fiat is not at fault.. because people with bad intentions will use everything to get what they want
