I always had great success with search engine marketing and I bet this is most effective marketing strategy nowadays.
 
Over the decades people finalized and authenticate business transactions and deals through direct phone conversation but this days direct mail and other means has being lucrative since it even makes it possible to send pictures too.
 
I am an affiliate marketer for some online marketing sites. I have done effort a lot? But I didn't get enough money for my work. So, I want to do direct selling by advertising through social net working sites as well as free classifieds? which is best? But I am a hard worker.

Postal mail is out-dated means for marketing. What I suppose people are marketing in inline is all other options you gave in here. Still, I am getting messages and e-mails to my phone daily about marketers promoting their products and direct search engine marketing is obvious.

For starting, you must go with search engine and then gain popularity by collecting e-mail of your prospects. Once your company is working good, you can get telephone contacts from call centers and grow exponentially.
 
I have tried postal mail and email marketing. My results are abysmal. They have zero conversion. That goes to show I am doing ten of things wrong with it. Also I may have to learn how to do this effectively if I want to do this seriously. I may consider simple method out of them and see which one of them works out. Then maybe I can consider scaling the one that converts.
 
Email marketing is one of the best , when it comes to conversions , the best thing is to setup a webinar and then email your subscribers , 15-30 minutes in advance before 2 days , 1 day , and on the day , timings are important for message delivery , first words of email are most important , Try using words like us instead of I and make sure you use a proper freebie or two along with your message to drive humans to see your actual product but first make them friends is important
 
I actually like email marketing too because you could send mails to your link periodically and this could make them remember visiting your site to get more updates

not focusing on one is actually very much bad , I think one thing to note is that there are greater results that could be very much happen and it will increase the possibility of the marketer to actually make big and good waves in different ways and aspects

obviously combination of different marketing strategies would actually yeild sucess , I think it's even one mistake relying on a particular method , there are some business men that uses mail and other methods
