Thank you for the posting the list. I'm not to sure about number 5 since I don't like to submit my URL to mass search engines. I prefer to submit my website manually to websites like Google, and Bing.

I think its cool to submit my website to many search engines with only one single click, it saves time and efforts.
but I remember that submitting any url to google requires solving a captcha, solving captcha automatically needs money, I don't think that these free websites can help with that.

If your website is well indexed in Google and Bing then it's enough. All the other search engines are of no use as some of them are country specific.

I had tried both Bing and Google but I find that URL Submit Google is the best because it doesn't link to any third party sites. Don't ever try PING , I tried that and my articles were plagarized by other writers from other websites. Always stick to the original, either Google, Yahoo or Bing.

If you have a blog then surely you an make use of the pingomatic tools. and that would ping your content across blog directories and the RSS directories. that surely works out. slowly but surely it can be of value to many.

Nice observation but I wish to know if the captcha in it is been monetize cos there sites that i solved capctcha and get paid not paying the site. Enlighten me please

Does SCRUB the Web do real indexing of submitted sites? I tried that service but never saw any impact on my site as in traffic boost or etc. I personally trust in the first three services above since they are what I use. May be I did something wrong somewhere. Or I should retry and see if they are real. Otherwise, the list is very helpful to webmasters.

You can submit your sites to search engines.I did,but there was not so much difference.On my sites rankings worked submitting them to different free web directories.After submitting them after couple of weeks my blog started to have higher rankings.

During sitemap submitting, some tutorial give small line of code that can handle 500 url. I was doubt with that. What is difference between submit by url one by one and that sitemap code.
