Staff communication is essential if you have a staff team. I once had a staff team on a community that I owned and I used Discord and Skype and I was able to keep in contact with all my staff my staff members.

Discord is a really good way to interact with your community. I know many streamers who actually have Discord servers and in that way they interact even more with the viewers/fans. Skype could be good as well, especially if u have a staff team so u can keep up with them.For example if you call someone and let him ask you questions and u give few answers.

Certainly a good leader must find a way of interacting with his or her subjects be it a physical setting office or in the virtual world.The world has become a global village and communication is no longer complex.There are several means of communicating now one just have to chose one that is convenient and faster to use.

I think most of the hosting companies outsource their communication team. so they are going to hire the hosting support on monthly retainer basis. so that is another thing you'd surely find it worth checking out. I think staff communication depends on how it goes for people.
