Spotify, a big tech company that specialize in audio streaming business has recently rolled out a new feature that lets podcaster sell their paid podcasts on the platform. Announced back in February, the new features has three monthly paid tiers that consumers can choose. This move has come around just shortly after Apple announced their own paid podcast support.

One of the problems that a lot of people have been encountering when it comes to starting a podcast is how to effectively monetize it. Spotify has really put in a very remarkable option and I am just waiting to see how users are going to react because podcast are one of the most difficult things to monetize.

That is a major concern becausee there are a lot of people that are able to make a lot of money from this, especially if they have a very large audience that is spending time to listen to their content. It is good to see that such a large company and application is providing a service for this.

I was somebody who was considering starting a podcast a few months back and my biggest worry was how I was going to monetize it because there is no way I was going to place advertisement and getting people to bring sponsored post was going to be very hectic. This option is a lot much better.

That is good that Spotify is ensuring that their platform is conducive enough for content creators and in this case audio content creators can set up their podcast and make money from them.

I have just come to learn that Spotify is one of the genuine platforms you can list your content and earn from them when your followers buy there.
