As reported by ZDnet, Spark, a company that operates online-based radio in New Zealand are working together with Samsung, the Korean tech giant to build their first for-profit 5g network in the country. The first region that will be served with this new 5G RAN technology by Samsung is Christchurch. Currently, the two companies have expanded the 5G networking into five different regions in the country. The cooperation with Samsung became a reality after the country banned Huawei from installing their device in the country due to significant security risks.
