Spare5 Overview
Spare5 is a GPT site and iOS App that pays its community members to perform various micro tasks on behalf of its clients. One of the company's main functions is to use human skills in training artificial intelligence (AI) models to be more intelligent. Spare5 has worked with some of the well known brands such as Microsoft, IBM, Sentient Technologies, GoPro, Pinterest, and Expedia.

Getting Started
Anyone age 18 and over can create an account with Spare5. Registration can be done through one of several social media accounts or by email address. After account creation, you will be required to provide some basic information such as age, gender and address. This information will be used to pair you with available tasks. These tasks can be completed either by logging into their website or by using the App which currently only available for iOS devices.

The Tasks
Tasks are sectioned into the following categories:

Assess Language
Here you will be listening to audio voice recordings and describing the content, tone, meaning, and speaker attitude.

Annotate Images
This task requires viewing images and labeling the different elements.

Isolate Elements
For this task you will be selecting the edges of elements to separate them from the rest of the image.

Provide Keywords
This task is simply tagging photos using appropriate keywords. This information is used to train computers on how to interpret images.

The Pay System
The minimum payout is set at $1. This setting can be adjusted on the dashboard of your account if you desire to be paid at a larger amount. Payments are sent via PayPal every Friday.

Referral System
Under the Refer-a-Friend program, you can earn up to $20. Every time your referral earns $10, you will receive a $2 bonus, and the referral will receive $1. This will continue until they have earned their first $100 or through their first 180 days. Your referral link will be activated when you have received $10 in payouts.

The site is intended for Computers/laptops only. If you are using mobile devices, obviously you will not get any test and tasks. But there is a method that will let you do the tests and tasks in your mobile device. The downside is, it is very hard to do the tasks in a mobile device.
If you are an iPhone user, you can install the spare5 and do task. Though the tasks on iPhone are different and are fewer than when you're using computers.

Oh okay, thank you for clarification. I was thinking if i could earn there but I don't think it is possible. I'm an android mobile user, and my desktop is not working anymore.

I can earn $20 to $50 a week at spare5 if I just put enough time on it. I've been busy with my real job lately that's why I haven't been doing more tasks. I am also busy playing online games lately.

Maybe what you took wasn't a qualifier. It is a training task. A training task doesn't disappear even after you finished it. It is always there for you to study if you have problems with the tasks.

I agree with msmoneybags . If I join a program, I want to understand what to do there as far as the tasks. I also want something explained to me in a great detail that I can accomplish and not spend a whole lot of time on a task and at the end them saying, I am sorry you did not complete the task correctly . No credit was issued.

You can find some youtube tutorials about Spare 5 tasks and the best way to pass the qualifiers, I think you are referring to qualifiers because sometimes it is difficult to pass it in the first attempt but as long as you pass it you will start receiving their tasks and those are pretty easy to complete.

Only you have so many tasks, for example I had only two and now 0. I have about 40k xp.
I have waited for my first task one month.

I have 900k EXP as of writing this. At first I only get 1 to 2 tasks a week. But I make sure that my answers are correct. Later on I am given more tasks.
I don't do tasks often but when I do, I give my best to answer the tasks as per the instructions.
Maybe you didn't answer well on the previous tasks given to you that's why they didn't prioritize you. You should be careful with your answers
and read the instructions carefully.

Even if your answers are wrong you still gain XP and money. But spare5 will no longer or will seldom give you tasks afterwards.
If you did, then you should be getting more tasks now.
Since you're not receiving more tasks now it only means you didn't.
If I haven't check my spare5 account for a week, Spare5 will even message me to come back because I have more tasks available.

You should be more informed I have experience on this subject you not.
I have completed tasks, and after some they have been reviewed, but this task is no more available on spare5.
On beginning it works like it: 5 tasks - review, again 5 tasks after about 10 tasks review etc.
If someone start with spare5 - it's hard to earn many.
I have waited for first task about a month and earned with it about 8$, but this task is finished now, so...

Unfortunately, the photo task is only available in the app and for this specific one we need to have a recent iPhone otherwise we will not have access to it. When they first release this task they allowed me to take some photos with my iPad (I have iPad 3) but later they decided that it will only work in recent Apple devices.
