Spare5 Overview
Spare5 is a GPT site and iOS App that pays its community members to perform various micro tasks on behalf of its clients. One of the company's main functions is to use human skills in training artificial intelligence (AI) models to be more intelligent. Spare5 has worked with some of the well known brands such as Microsoft, IBM, Sentient Technologies, GoPro, Pinterest, and Expedia.

Getting Started
Anyone age 18 and over can create an account with Spare5. Registration can be done through one of several social media accounts or by email address. After account creation, you will be required to provide some basic information such as age, gender and address. This information will be used to pair you with available tasks. These tasks can be completed either by logging into their website or by using the App which currently only available for iOS devices.

The Tasks
Tasks are sectioned into the following categories:

Assess Language
Here you will be listening to audio voice recordings and describing the content, tone, meaning, and speaker attitude.

Annotate Images
This task requires viewing images and labeling the different elements.

Isolate Elements
For this task you will be selecting the edges of elements to separate them from the rest of the image.

Provide Keywords
This task is simply tagging photos using appropriate keywords. This information is used to train computers on how to interpret images.

The Pay System
The minimum payout is set at $1. This setting can be adjusted on the dashboard of your account if you desire to be paid at a larger amount. Payments are sent via PayPal every Friday.

Referral System
Under the Refer-a-Friend program, you can earn up to $20. Every time your referral earns $10, you will receive a $2 bonus, and the referral will receive $1. This will continue until they have earned their first $100 or through their first 180 days. Your referral link will be activated when you have received $10 in payouts.

That is what is disappointing about this site. I don't have the time to be checking the app all the time. I have other responsibilities. Well, there is nothing I can do if other members have already taken the tasks before I come.

I recommand you to download Spare5 if only you use an iPhone.. . You'll be asked to complete few tutorials and once done you can get real tasks with 1–2$ per activity, Daily completion can get you around 10$ a day as well. Patience is what you need…

i am an iphone user. I have passed some tutorials on spare5, but they send more web task than mobile task. Whenever I get a new tasks that can be done on mobile, it easily expires in just few hours. I received a logo task before which made me earn 2$, and to be honest it was the easiest task I have done, the other task are too hard to pass.

Yes, we must be quick because the site has already a lot of members competing for the tasks. I am not anymore doing tasks for the site but I still have my account and still promoting it. I know this is a good site.

i am an iphone user. I have passed some tutorials on spare5, but they send more web task than mobile task. Whenever I get a new tasks that can be done on mobile, it easily expires in just few hours. I received a logo task before which made me earn 2$, and to be honest it was the easiest task I have done, the other task are too hard to pass.

You need to get high accuracy for each for you to gain XP. The higher the XP and accuracy, the higher the chance to get more task. They also send task that wont require tutorials like identifying/finding logos and taking pictures of specific object.

Thanks. This sounds like a very interesting site for completing tasks for pay. I think a few other sites use this form of work and pay people to complete different types of tasks. I like this idea and it seems more interesting to me than taking surveys or using PTC sites to earn with. You'll need excellent skill to be able to preforms these tasks and receive a high score of accuracy. Thanks for sharing a bit more about this site.

The site is very strenuous to work with if you are using a tablet like iPad. I intend using a laptop to get the user experience and see the difference because I received notification that the tasks for mobile are different from those for computers.

Yes, there are tasks that can be completed through iPhone only. Actually, more tasks are available for mobile based on the stories of some friends who are using mobile when completing tasks. Personally, I would prefer using a laptop because most of the tasks are requiring details which I could not do using mobile.

That happened to me before when I was logging in on laptop. When I tried to log back again using their mobile app, everything went smooth. If this will not work for you, try to message their support.

Have you been able to log in? I forgot to tell that the mobile app is only available for ios users. But it is really to use both app and web for they also send plenty of task on the web.

you aren't missing much. I don't have any tasks available, only qualifiers and they usually have only drawing tasks which take a lot of time and pay too little. I'm surprised that people are still doing tasks on Spare5 since there are better alternatives.

I would love to work at Spare5 since I am receiving a lot of positive reviews about it even though the earnings might be slow for some time at least it is legit and well paying.

At times you can get lucky and find a few tasks on there that pay OK for the simple task you need to do. But this doesn't happen often because there are way too many people on the site fighting over the same tasks.

Yes you're partly correct. Because of too many members on spare5, each only get a few tasks especially those who have low accuracy rate. But those who have more XP and better tasking accuracy are given more tasks. I am given a lot of tasks everyday and even received emails from spare5 to come back and do tasks that are available. I can quit my job if I want to and make spare5 and remotasks my primary sources of income but I love my job so I won't.

So just be careful with your tasking and do follow the instructions correctly in order to qualify for more tasks.

I agree with @jfcuison because at the beginning, when I was just registered at spare5, I was having a little tasks and was able to earn about $1 per two weeks but when I got more XP, I am getting more and more paid tasks (of course after the successful qualifiers) and now I don't have so much free time to get all available spare5 task done.

I really don't understand why people are having difficulty with the qualifiers and tasks in Spare5. Even the children of my sister who are only in grade school are earning a decent amount of money here. They manage to buy their own smartphones(the cheaper ones) with the earning they got from spare5.

You know I have no idea. The site is simple to use and they really explain the work to you. I don't find it difficult at all. I think some people just have an issue with understanding all the directions in English and they can't follow them at all. If you go back through here, you'll see this time and time again about how hard it is to work on this site.
