SEO, what is it?
Why Search Engine Optimization?
All these things must be known to all webmasters. And all this is not even part of my question.

The first real question is, have any of the webmasters here ever tried to find out about SEO by going to Google Search Central?

How does Google decide which page should rank first in search? What is the key factor for easily get a good rank on Google (according to you)?

Do you people think that it is necessary to put frequent posts in the blog to get a good rank in Google?

What type of keywords you think are best for getting a high rank on Google easily (According to you)?

You should answer these questions on the basis of your own experience.

Frequent posts and/ frequent updates are essentinal. Google is very clear that they like updated websites, websites that never update have no chance on being near the top of a search.
The key factor is to be good, and popular - that's pretty much it. If you have a good, reguarly updated webpage that has loads of visitors you will get near the top of seaches.

According to me, the frequent update is not an important factor. All you need is good content with popularity and with a keyword.

This is not a guess, it is clearly stated by Google itself that updates are important. Regular updates does not mean daily updates, but at least every now and then updates need to be made or Google will start assuming the website is abandoned.

By the way, a lot of factors have been written. But Google gives search rank by looking at only three things. First is Domain age, Secondly Unique Content, and the third and important one is backlink.

I'm not throwing this in the air. I have seen many such blogs and websites, In which no new updates have come for two to three years, but still they are on the top rank according to their keywords.

If you told me that the most important 3 things are domain age, unique content and backlinks I would agree with you totally. Those are 3 extremely important things, more important than anything else, sure. But I doubt that they are they ONLY things Google looks at, the system is extremely complicated, not to mention ever changing....

Yes, even after many updates, Google sees these three things. These three things have not changed yet.

A quote :

"Then, using an algorithm with over 210 known factors, Google orders them on a search result page."

There are many, many factors taken into account. Again, I agree the 3 you mentioned extremely important, but they are just not alone.

Most of the factors have been made to fight against spam links in actuality, not for ranking. Unless your article is copied and is not providing the wrong information, Or is not misleading people. Till then only these three things will do your job. If you look carefully at the recent algorithm update of 2021, then it can be seen.

According to many, many, many different sites (just try doing a search about the topic) things like mobile-readiness, the tdl extension, page titles, keyword density, just to name a few, impact on search ranking.

ok.. I waited a long to experience it myself and sharing now a screenshot of a one-month-old blog's search console statistics as a reference of how mobile responsiveness or readiness affects a new or old blog or site. According to me the statistics are not bad for a very new blog, with keywords "make money Online" Create a free Blog" and "Best blogging platform". Here are two pictures, the first is search performance, and the second mobile page usability of the blog for the same one-month-old blog.

Search engine optimisation is very complex. There is no particular metric that is used to determine what is first but instead it is a combination of so many factors. Your attention rate is one of the most important together with our responsive your website is. The number of backlinks that you have and also your meta tags are one of the things that the system observed.

Not only is it a combination of so many factors but also those factors are always changing and Google etc tweak and improve their services.
Most of the factors you mentioned are important but the number of backlinks is not important - what is important is where your backlinks are coming from - you need to concentrate on getting backlinks from quality sites, not a whole load of backlinks from poor sites. A single backlink from an extremely popular website can be the equivilant of hundreds of backlinks from poorer sites.

When your product or service has the exact matched keywords and the service offers what the users are searching for then there is a fair chance that your product will get ranked and will rank higher in the search volume so that is the basic rule and that helps you to rank faster in the search ranking

Unless you have a very niche product/service then there are likely to be a lot of sites that match the search exactly. Keywords are extremely important sure, but matching keywords alone is not nearly enough to rank on the first page of a search.

Google usually utilizes a couple of methods in order to determine the kind of contents that they are going to be showing to users. For example you are more better to appear in search if the headline of your article directly corresponds to what the person is searching about. The amount of page visits and page retention that you have been having as well as the quality of your post is something that the algorithm also checks.

You are right. Constant posting on a website is one of the best ways to rank high ranking and to be seen by search engines. I just created a blog and some times ago I was wondering why articles from my blog are not been seen by search engines. Because whenever I copied topic from one of my articles and search it on Google, my website will not come as a result even if the topic is not common.
It was later that someone told me that it is because I have very few contents on my blog and Google work best on websites with many contents.

They were quite right. A site with little content will find it hard to be ranked high in search engines. Of course content is not the only thing (or even perhaps the most important), I would suggest the most important thing is backlinks - without backlinks google won't even be able to find your site! Once you have a few links in, and good content, then you will get yourself on google easily.

SEO is a rapidly changing industry and what worked a few years or months ago may not work today. Thus it is important to stay educated and informed about the latest new SEO developments.

Websites with more pages in the index rank higher than sites with fewer pages, right? not nessacary !! Websites with a lot of high-quality pages indexed will rank higher and not just any type of page.
Pages with thin content or duplicate content does not add value to the website, in fact it harms the SEO performance of the website. If you're aiming to get as many pages as you can index in Google, you may have to stop and review my SEO strategy.
