Airdrop is a free giveaway of the cryptocurrencies that are very new to the market. Mostly airdrops are organised through telegram changels , in which we need to complete all the specified tasks (social media tasks like following that project) , and once the airdrop is ended , the airdrop distribution begins to our Erc20 wallet . Erc20 tokens are the part of Ethereum network . There are millions of ERC20 tokens. Once we receive the erc20 tokens to our wallet (like trust wallet , metamask , myetherwallet) , we can exchange those tokens to ethereum or Bitcoin once that token is listed in any exchangers like ddex , Binance . Coinbase and blockchain are only Ethereum wallet , they don't support Erc20 tokens . To store ERC20 tokens , you need trust wallet , or metamask , or myetherwallet all are available in playstore. For better understanding , see this screenshot of my trust wallet app . I have accumulated so far 5 Erc20 tokens through airdrops I participated.

It mean that for promo any token or crypto owner put some tokens to the community for support.... Like e.g. I create *** coin, this coin must people use, so need promote, need supporters, talk about it, need main base... this do people, you, us,.... this people get free coins, for base supporters holders etc... but many of it are scams... about presales icos etc etc... dont finish work, so coin or token never born to success etc... but if project and it coin be success, you can grow with your free tokensor coins with this project or coin

Kapow project didn't have any ico , but it was very much legitimate project and token. I received kapow , you can see in screenshot. They didn't have public funding or ico , they started with no funds.

yes ok, but I am talking about general, that can be scams etc. or not finished projects etc... no one know... some can mud project like e.g. Bitsdaq, etc... no ones know... btw qqq about poseidon have cool aidrop too without ico etc So I am not talking about all that are unusable or scams... but many of them yes...

why are they giving tokens instead of currency ? an what is the difference bewtween a token and a currency , and why do they have togothrough erc20 wallets and not directly to coinbase or blockchain ? and what is this 'ico' that you mentioned ?

ERC20 address is Ethereum address that accepts tokens on ethereum network.
Compatible Ethereum ERC20 wallets is Metamask for example.

Airdrops is can give you free coins, BUT it can also be SCAM.
So you need to be careful.
Most of them on social media are scam.

They are creating their own token/cryptocurrency for a specific purpose , and giving out them to the community so that people may discuss about that particular token. Look , Ethereum is a cryptocurrency , and Erc20 is referred to the tokens that are associated with Ethereum cryptocurrency network or ecosystem. New project give away tokens or it can be called new cryptocurrency that has to evolve and develop more in the future. Ethereum is already listed in all the crypto exchangers but tokens or new cryptocurrencies like kpw token , pxb token or some other Erc20 tokens are not listed yet in reputed exchangers . As I already said coinbase or blockchain supports only "Ethereum cryptocurrency" , not the erc20 tokens or new cryptocurrencies associated with Ethereum ecosystem or network. So the airdrops don't payout to coinbase or blockchain. You need trust wallet or metamask to store ERC20 tokens or so called new cryptocurrencies. Ico is "initial coin offering". Let me explain it more. Each cryptocurrency that evolves in the market has its own purpose. For example , some "x" cryptocurrency is used to reward players in a mining game. Or 'y' cryptocurrency is used to in a freelancing site to reward users , or something like that. If you know crypto idle miner game , then things might get clear to you. Crypto idle miner game is a free to play game that rewards users with cryptocurrency or token called "Hora" , a TRC20 Token ( Tron network , not Ethereum network) , which can be exchanged to Tron or other altcoins in exchanger sites like tradesatoshi , Tron watch market and many more.

But Bitcoin was a payoneer !
It was the very first thing of crypto currencies and it still on the top , all the 9ther ones are trying to copy from it somehow , and none of them came even close to what Bitcoin is !
I used to play a he called cryptopop , do you know it ?

I don't know about Saturn network., maybe Google it. And about apps , there isn't any high paying as of now for Bitcoin. To earn free Bitcoin , faucethub faucets are the best and high paying. Other than faucets , I earn from kolotibablo also , where it's easy to reach $1 by solving recaptchas and payout in ethereum and litecoin.

i tried the website you mentioned , but I found it very annoying and dfficult , I tried solving like 8 captchas , but they told me I have errors in all of them, and that they will close my account if I keep making mistakes !
