The Slovenian Financial Administration (FURS) has recommended adjustments to the taxes regime that applies to cryptocurrencies. The government intends to charge a ten percent tax on cryptocurrency that is spent on goods and services or converted into cash. The new taxing plan will be implemented by the Slovenian tax authority through legislative changes. According to FURS the taxation of cryptocurrency-related revenue in the EU member state would be greatly simplified.

If the amendments are enacted the financial administration has stated that it will no longer be required to investigate a taxpayer's numerous transactions involving the purchase and sale of digital currency as well as the various cryptos they have purchased sold or converted.According to existing Slovenian legislation the taxable income from virtual currency transactions varies depending on the circumstances in each case according to the research. Individuals for example must pay capital gains tax on revenues from cryptocurrency sales if they were made as part of a commercial activity.

I don't think this move is bad because there is no how the government of any country won't tax cryptocurrencies because there is money in the Investment.

It's never a bad move, for them to allow free flow of cryptocurrency transactions the country needs to gain from it's transactions and the ideal way of making it achievable it's through taxation.

That's a significant amount to charge even though it's worth it if the government allows cryptocurrency use. Taxing spending might be too much though in my opinion

yeah but I was thinking if the government of different countries could start taxing cryptocurrency with a single digit taxation instead of double digits to be better.

Yes a tax of 2% should be the maximum so that users don't feel like paying more than their actual profit that's what I will say here as well to be honest .

Yes , That's Not Acceptable Its Simple That The Countries That Don't Want To Allow Using Of Crypto For People Are Coming Up With Higher Tax Idea To Be Honest .

It's better than banning the use of crypto and this is another avenue to fetch the government more revenue to get enough money to provide social amenities

Yes Ireland Has Made the Tax Raised To 13.5% As Well , Government Organization Wants Your Crypto Guys , They Are The True Scammers To Be Honest ...

And India is 30%. I wonder how these governments feel taxing citizens these high rate. Thought they viewed crypto as a scam or something not real, how come they're placing a high tax on scams? I think time will come when citizens that earn a lot from crypto will be migrating to crypto friendly countries with lower or zero tax rate. It's absurd trying to earn from something you don't support.

putting high tax would really not encourage foreign investment, because some foreign cryptocurrency companies that want to work in the country won't want to work because of the high tax rate ,they would actually look for another thing to focus on , I think all these would be really considered

Ah wouldn't there be a way to bypass them though? Like using their unauthorized exchanges or use vpn to not get detected? 10% is a lot for me.. why do they do this when they have no contribution on crypto currency and traders money

normal most government want your crypto through tax and I think that doesn't make them scammers ,if they are utilizing the money gotten from cryptocurrency into the development of the country and not scamming ,I guess it's a good thing ,so not all government actually want to scam you things are different
