Anyone got paid to review music by Slicethepie?
Please share some tips and tricks to earn more with this program if is not a scam.

Thanks for the information. I thought it was about listening to music and rating it. I think that was another site I saw before.

Yes. You will be required to listen and review the music based on its melody, lyrics, intro, sounding of instruments, the emotions of the writers and other factors that you will notice. And you will have to rate it too, but this is not available worldwide, i dont know what other country they accept aside from UK and US.

I have never really heard a lot of good reviews on this and some say it is extremely time consuming. There are a few that stay there because they have active referral links and they earn more from them than doing the work themselves. So basically they let the others work for them and all they do is collect their pay off the site.

I was not aware that they also have referral system but what I do heard is that they have higher rate of pay before than now. It is even available on many countries beforw, but now they have limited it and the payment as well.

Looks like money issues are coming soon. Once a sie limits the people who work for them and lowers the pay this is not a good sign at all. I know the site has been open for sometime, but it seems like it is harder now to work for them than before.

I was planning on giving it a try a few months ago in my spare time jsust to see what it is like. I have seein a lot of reviews on it out there (I always check out the reviews first to get foreknowledge before signing up for a new site), and from what I have seen there are some people who like it and say it is fast to review music, while others were very put-off by the monotonous and low-quality music they had to review.

Others were irked that the system kept rejecting their reviews for bogus reasons, saying that they did not enter enough information or details about the music video on their reviews. From what I have read, it was not always that way, but recent changes made their site like that. So I'm not sure if it's still worthwhile to do like it was a few years ago, but I have seen payment proofs that are legitimate and they do pay to paypal. So the issue isn't whether they pay (because they do), but whether they accept reviews and are making it worth your while to do them.

I see that this post was also nearly a year old, but it might be something to revisit if people are still interested in SliceThePie and wondering if they pay or not. Any updated reviews would be good to know.
I also wanna try this site.. but because when i read some comment that is ... they only accept country from Anglosphere.. i dont spend time to know more about it

Yes. With the limit on country and limit on payments, this would not be a good choice for everyone. But for those who are living in US and UK, this could since they send more songs to those country.

Hi to you and good day friend! its nice that you Try to Explained long All of these to us! Interesting the thing is have you join Register Already ?? in thier program? and started making money online just for listening music !! and what most song do you played?? cause i think slice the pie is a great competitor of music xrays when its comes in music industry . and aspiring singers record too thier songs in music xrays ! i dont know yet the rules and platform of slice the pie and what can they offer!!

I read reviews on them from a while ago. While some people liked it, others didn't because it took some time for their reviews to be accepted but in the end you'll still get paid.

Yes that is what is making it slower, one would have to wait for the approval of the reviews even the payment is so little. But seems nice that will get paid by just listening and reviewing songs, hopefully they open it worldwide again.

When I signed up with slice the pie on my Android phone I was given three categories to select from. The first one was mobile phone cases and mobile accessories, which was a bonus section. The second section was for commercials with standard income. The third section was branding reviews for Logos and brand imagery. Then there was lucky dip which was to review a random selection of things.

So to get the most money for my time I chose the mobile.

Then it asked me a little bit more about myself.

  • my ethnicity

  • employment status

  • relationship status

  • yearly household income

  • how many children were in my household

  • and if I wanted to be invited to earn money in other parts of the survey. Of course I selected yes.

okay getting down to it

  • It asked me how often I used to Facebook and of course I use it every single day so that's what I told them

  • It asked how often I used Instagram. Even though I use Instagram just for business and not for pleasure I told the truth and said weekly because I don't really use it that often

  • How long I used LinkedIn.

  • How often I you Snapchat. I don't.

  • Twitter, I use that everyday

  • Tumblr, I never go there

  • I use YouTube pretty much daily

  • Pinterest probably every other day

  • It asked my brand of smartphone which was a Samsung.

  • It actually said is your handset one of the following and it gave me all the choices. But it did not have the S6

  • About my headphones that I wear. Usually earbuds

  • I shop for mobile phone accessories and headphones at Best Buy,Walmart, Target, Amazon and elsewhere online

Now they actually gave me a case to look at and asked me what I thought of it

  • But when I was trying to edit I went back too many times and lost the whole entire review

Arrghh!!!

The site is legit, but the problem is the site is not open worldwide, and the earnings are not big enough, but you can use it as a part-time job only

@Gunburn I am from Philippines, and slicethepie is not available to my location, but on the different forum they have lots of payment proof coming from site since they are located from United States

I joined this site long time ago when it was still available worldwide. I think it's quite fun to listen and review the songs. I read that there are more categories added to the site. Besides songs, there are also fashion items, accessories and some commercial products. I guess perhaps those products are only available to certain countries, hence they started to restrict the reviews from those countries only. I hope they will eventually open this opportunity to other countries as well.

I joined this site several years back and it turned out to be a joke. You are given so many songs to listen to and review, at first you'll earn around $10 in your account. After this, there is nothing but emails that arrive in your inbox and ask you to listen to a song. When you click on the link it won't direct you to the song at all and there is nothing but an affiliate link to look at. Or at least this was how it was for me. My account was stuck at $10 for more than 9 months when I finally decided to delete it because of all the annoying emails I received each day from them. They are nothing more than a spam company.
