The skrill company as officially partner with coinbase to offer cryptocurrency platform to its uses from the US.
The residents from Alaska, Colorado, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, New Hampshire, South Dakota, Tennessee, Virginia, Vermont, and Wyoming can now buy and sell Crypto currencies such as bitcoin, litecoin, ethereum and Bitcoin cash using their skrill wallet . This update came from Lorenzo Pellegrino, CEO of Skrill.

Good, if only skrill is not complicated to use.. just normal sending money is a pain to do.. withdrawal is hard too. Pretty sensitive but i like their support

This is good for them. Skrill should consider extending such service to the other countries supported, however, doing that with coinbase may be the issue.

I guess you're from Nigeria?? Skrill support Nigeria and other countries. Skrill is similar to payeer, almost all countries can access it. You can send skrill via USD or any fiat currency that it features, convert to crypto and send elsewhere.

I am more concerned about the restrictions we have on Coinbase. Skrill is all good but partnering up with Coinbase as a platform may keep such services at bay for us.

Skrill withdrawal to local currency through bank is already available for most countries it support despite huge withdrawal fee but the Crypto development is not available for all yet.

I don't think it is available for all countries at the moment ,the last time I converted skrill funds to bitcoin I had to use Bitpay and the charges was extremely.

Eeh, i understand that the charges are so high with skrill. That's why i dropped it after using it for sometime. The accept almost every country. I was thinking the crypto feature is accessible for all.

Hmm, okay. I can't stand to be sending my funds from one exchange site to another. Just because i need Bitcoin in exchange for my skrill funds. If they aren't going to send to binance then i won't convert, it will devalue more than expected before the cash becomes withdrawable.

That sudden I was not having option so I had to transact my skrill funds to Bitcoin right now I don't think I would do such again because the charges was up to $10.

Hmm, very bizarre one there with skrill. What on earth warranted such charges for lower transactions with Bitcoin? How how much skrill funds did you exchange for BTC that made them to charge you $10?

Arround $30 or so, I have to use Bitpay channel , withdrawal to bitpay charged me , then conversion to bitcoin then sending to my blockchain wallet was another charges .

This is good for people living in US especially those area mentioned, we want to see more of this in other countries. Skrill partnering with coinbase is a nice combination.

Very likely if they test run it and it work effectively for them they will surely expand to other countries probably UK and others.

Very good , i like to see more payment companies do partnership with many crypto sites. It shows sone form of progress and development in the crypto community

It's not just Skrill, my opinion is that all payment platforms should partnership with Coinbase, one of the popular exchanges globally just like Binance.

The partnership is an added advantage and it would benefit a lot , the skrill payment companies have done theirs , i hope other consider crypto

Strange that among all the states, Italy (my country) is not included.
I say this in this, Lorenzo Pellegrino, CEO of Skrill, appears to be an Italian citizen.
Also, from the latest news, he seems to want to use Skrill, as a partnership with A.C. Milan (Italian football team, militant in the top flight)
