When we apply for a jobs, we provide our resume which contains all the information regarding our personal as well as professional career. When you have various skills, we should have proper documentation. For example if someone has done any course on business management, then he should have the certification for it.

The most of the skills we have, the better it is for us. That will give a higher chance to get the job. Any skill that you think you should be benefited, should be included in the resume and should have a proper certification of it.

This is good article from you, You are right. It's a good idea to have certificate for the skill we have, some people don't understand this, they will have skills on art and they will be studying science at school.

Resumes should be rich enough to in content before submitting it. Different managers have different require for different job under them and they have to look for someone that have the right qualities to work for them. Interpersonal relationship with others and computer literate is one of th quantities need.
You are making point. There's lots of quality that employer will need in someone before the person ca6be employ. Certificate just meant for showing that you are educated but capability is inner of your body.

But I think for a resume, we should only include the points which are relevant. For example if I am applying for a job and going for interview for a company in aviation sector, I will put my merit in the specific sector only.

Having qualifications indeed can be a big advantage, but it is not always required - in some cases, skill matters more. It depends on the exact niche you are aiming for but for example artists can often get work if they have an impressive portfolio.

This is why it is important to acquire skills that go in line with your CV. That way you will have upper hand, not just presenting your CV without skillful and practical knowledge. If you are a data analyst, you might want to be skillful in programming language.

When I was tasked to handle the applicants to our department, I always note down the lack of experience for the particular position that is vacant. I would then ask the applicant about the skill and more often than not I would get a good answer. That means the resume is not focused on the position that he was applying for.

This is a vital part of any resume now. Skills are really needed now especially for high profile jobs that are skill. Instead of one just acquiring school certifications alone adding skills will be of advantage

There are several skills that can be put on the resume. It is necessary to lists all the skills we have in a resume when applying for jobs, the job we are applying for will determine the set of skills that is relevant to the job.

Yeah yeah, it's a good thing to have one or two skill now a days, and to work harder on it, some people are even wasting their time today, writing jamb over and over again just to study medicine, and to be honest, any medical doctor has never become the richest person in any community

It is very good to list some of your working experience and mostly consider now that the world is digital world so you can try learn computer so you will add computer as one of the skills thou what you said is not wrong its depend on the type of jobs you are applying

I think you should focus more on building those small skills that you can add to your resume. For example Microsoft and the likes.

You should put skills that are related to the job you are trying to apply to, but general skills too are an eye candy nowadays like microsoft office related skills

True, and also how good you can initiate your skill when it all becomes reality, take a look at an event hostess who wants to look for an upper payable opportunity, the most related is PRO so having that on his or her CV will give her a larger edge to the game because he or she can easyly incoperate It with dealing with customers.

You are right, some people have many skills that they have gathered over the years. It will not be right writing all the skills to apply for a job that most of the skills are not relevant to. We should limited our skills as they relate to the job.

That is very good advice. Indeed there are skills that should really be included in a resume when seeking for a job. A proper certification for it should also be included as proof.

I come from a country where not certificated skills means nothing, especially when a certificate degree or Master is required for a certain position (sometimes a short course certificate helps too). Lack of a certificate can also easily lead to not being considered at all by the employer, even when it's not compulsory for the opened position. The same happens in my new country. So the best thing in the countries I know is to mostly put the skills that can be properly proved through certificates. In any way, when it comes for computing skills, certificates are not necessarily needed (if the position doesn't require them specifically).

Some people go about to putting skills that they do not have in their CV thinking it will help them to secure a well-paying job buy at the end of the day it doesn't so they get disappointed.
That act is very bad when you put a skills which you have no knowledge about in your c.v just to get the job,I beleive that you are doing yourself more harm than good becuse some days they may ask you to prove that skills and if you can't deliverd then you stand a chance to loss that job

I think that skills depends with the line of what and what is expected of you but in most cases we do not work in isolation hence one requires skills that can be integrated to other departments as well. That is ease of communication, attentive to detail, trainable and require minimal supervision, motivated and politeness and etiquette.
