SketchUp is a 3D modeling software with a wide range of usage like architectural, product design, landscape design, engineering, city design, movies, video games and more. First launched in August 2000 by a newly founded tech startup called @Last Software in Colorado, USA, SketchUp was later bought by Google for an unreleased sum of money in 2006, later in 2012, another company called Trimble bought SketchUp from Google. SketchUp has web-based free version called SketchUp Free for personal use, and several tier of paid versions starting with 119 USD per year with more features and fewer limitations. The paid versions of the software have more advanced features such as 2d design and documentation, offline mode, augmented reality support and more.
