In winter, the price and consumption of coal increases. In our country, like other countries, coal is imported from outside.I would like to ask you for advice on how to sell coal in winter season.?

Is it possible to make good profit if coal is bought and stored in summer and sold in winter?

Well, it's profitable but I think it has a lot of negative impart on the part of the safety of our environment. Producing charcoal results in deforestation and this degrade the environment.

Yeah, I think this can be a great investment if you have enough market. Winter really gives a great time to sell the charcoal in high amounts. You should also consider a good storage system where you will store the charcoal from summer to winter.

Well you are right but people are also consuming wood and charcoal if I will not sell them they will still use.
And also I am not asking about deforestation but charcoal from mining and I think this have less effect on environment than wood.

Okay I got your point now.
So what you have to focus on right now is how to store them in case there are still surplus before summer gets in.

Having the thought of investing in a charcoal business is undoubtedly a wonderful idea. Charcoal business brings in a large amount of profit only if you can I debtify your targeted customers
Yeah, we all know that it's wonderful idea but have you forgotten about the negative effects. Charcoal business will lead to deforestation and it is one of the the main causes of environmental science degradation.

Yeah,as now a days the awareness is increasing to limit the use of fossil fuels,so in the coming years, charcoal consumption would drop significantly.

I think fossil fuels will be better because they don't destroy the environment as compared to charcoal which are obtained by cutting down trees which contribute to the destruction of the vegetation. This leads global warming and sometimes it does also cause some natural disasters like drought.

These are the serious implications of deforestation , they don't replant after cutting if not charcoal has many uses aside been used as fuel and there is way it is used as fuel without contaminating the environment.

Yeah, l think you are making a strong point here.
If only we know how to obtain charcoal without much negative impart on the environment, it will do us a lot of good for the future.

Yes you can, but you can buy it in large quantity and store it where water will not touch it, if not it will loss its quality and its value too. If you can get supplier is good.

This business is very lucrative because people do buy during the dry season when it is surplus and sell during the rainy season when the price is high. Sometimes twice.

Its not really bad if you invest in charcoal business , i have friends who are into the business abd they are earning a lot from it ,because they distribute to those food sellers who still make use of it

If you have good means of storage, it will definitely be profitable because in most areas where they still use charcoal, price always rise in the rainy season and selling it at that time is really profitable.

It's good to be conscious of how our activities affect our environment, and the use of charcoal is not good for the climate.

But unless other safer alternatives are made available, this will have to do.

People see other alternatives to be more expensive so they opt for charcoal, if the government is very serious with afforestation things will be better because it may be difficult to stop people now considering the money in the business

Some places charcoal production is really causing a lot of harm than good but it seems everyone is ready for the money ignoring the harm.
But like @De-rector said, if government put effective measures for replanting those trees cut down, l think it will be the better option because you can't stop people from using charcoal.

The problem lies with both the government and the people..

The traders of charcoal can't afford to lose the money they make from it, and the government is either unable to, or is not willing to provide alternatives to charcoal.

People won't let cold kill them, so they have to use it like that.

This is an excellent idea business wise. The most important thing is to have a good way to store the charcoal against the time it would be in high demand. If that is what is mostly used in your location, then, why not make a business out of it, right?

What government needs to do is implementation or enforcement of it laws as regards afforestation, fall one and plant one for regeneration that all.
