In winter, the price and consumption of coal increases. In our country, like other countries, coal is imported from outside.I would like to ask you for advice on how to sell coal in winter season.?

Is it possible to make good profit if coal is bought and stored in summer and sold in winter?

Maybe the country differential matters in the charcoal business because as at now in my country although the business might be profitable, the government is trying to implement the law that you plan a tree you chop down and that seems not easy too.

Yeah sure, that is one of the advantages of the building. And when considering there will be some other advantages too but the impact on the environment isn't just cool at all.

Ohhkk, l'm glad they are very eco-friendly especially. I hope if the pandemic slowed down one day I can travel over there to visit some of them and learn more about them.
This pandemic really has to stop because it's affecting the tourism industry very adversely. If you do come, I'm confident you'll learn a lot. Plus you'll have a lot of fun LOL

Back to the topic - my country is currently pushing a few coal projects, and I was taken aback to recently learn that the US Government is very keen to help us generate power from coal in various eco-friendly ways.

The pandemic is seriously affecting tourism a lot. In My country right now the government again have placed a ban on tourism related activities and any gathering with more than 25 people except religious gatherings.

Quite a point you've raised there Bro, electricity tarrifs are on the rise.
But maybe we can improvise and use gas stoves to avoid the electric stove that consums power.
Of the above, charcoal still remains affordable
Sure that's pretty true, but gas is more expensive but long lasting, Joel you know that to entirely depend on Zesco, is to see your entire demise because of power cuts, charcoal though environmental destructive remains affordable for most households.

Yes, it's a global issue and a lot of tour operators in southern Africa are up in my arms over the travel restrictions. Tourism is my country's second biggest contributor to our GDP, so you can imagine what a hit our economy is taking. But I live in hope. I feel like the pandemic will start easing off around December 2021.

Over here tourism is also generating a large percentage of revenue to the country's economy but the pandemic is really trying to make things hard in the economy globally. Let's just hope it reduces very soon and the old normal life will start again.

Tourism is actually very lucrative and profitable but the discussion here is on charcoal investment as regards how profitable it may be so share your views on that.

Sorry I went off topic, because it wasn't suppose to appear in this thread. But it came in because we discussed about charcoal effects and entered there slightly, but l'm sorry, we change topic.

Charcoal usage in most households nowadays is few, so to venture in it as a business, targeted locations where there has been reports of high usage should be the area of concern, also there are other uses of charcoal that cab fetch profits too

Yeah, that is right. Charcoal selling should be done at specific locations where there is high demand. Most people don't use it anymore, unless you find specific areas where it is in demand.

Here in Nigeria, charcoal business still in still on because some parts still make use of coal for different purposes, it's better to target these locations

Yeah, that is the same in my country. Then there are some places that produce charcoal and sell them at very low prices. It is a good business to buy them there and sell them in a town location where it is used by many.

Yeah that's a good market initiative, but at the region where it is produced cheap and sell for a profit at town locations where it mostly used

Hello dear good say to you

Yes it's great idea because thats one of the daily sales item so you can invest without any issue

Like that you don't put high profit for that because sometimes you can loose your business so set normal profit and make lots of earnings

Yeah, that is right. Buying charcoal in places where it is produced is way too cheap. So buying them there and selling them in a town in a good business. As long as the transport expenses are also affordable.

In my country only big mining companies can deal in coal because they have the capital, the equipment and technical know-how. Individuals don't get involved, especially now that investors are shunning coal for cleaner sources of energy. The companies looking to mine coal assure us that they will only employ environmentally friendly methods of doing this, which I guess requires deep pockets as well.
