Back to the topic - my country is currently pushing a few coal projects, and I was taken aback to recently learn that the US Government is very keen to help us generate power from coal in various eco-friendly ways.
Sure that's pretty true, but gas is more expensive but long lasting, Joel you know that to entirely depend on Zesco, is to see your entire demise because of power cuts, charcoal though environmental destructive remains affordable for most households.Quite a point you've raised there Bro, electricity tarrifs are on the rise.
But maybe we can improvise and use gas stoves to avoid the electric stove that consums power.
Of the above, charcoal still remains affordable
Yes, it's a global issue and a lot of tour operators in southern Africa are up in my arms over the travel restrictions. Tourism is my country's second biggest contributor to our GDP, so you can imagine what a hit our economy is taking. But I live in hope. I feel like the pandemic will start easing off around December 2021.The pandemic is seriously affecting tourism a lot. Over here tourism is also generating a large percentage of revenue to the country's economy but the pandemic is really trying to make things hard in the economy globally. Let's just hope it reduces very soon and the old normal life will start again.Yes, it's a global issue and a lot of tour operators in southern Africa are up in my arms over the travel restrictions. Tourism is actually very lucrative and profitable but the discussion here is on charcoal investment as regards how profitable it may be so share your views on that.Over here tourism is also generating a large percentage of revenue to the country's economy but the pandemic is really trying to make things hard in the economy globally. Most people don't use it anymore, unless you find specific areas where it is in demand.Charcoal usage in most households nowadays is few, so to venture in it as a business, targeted locations where there has been reports of high usage should be the area of concern, also there are other uses of charcoal that cab fetch profits too
Yeah, that is the same in my country. Then there are some places that produce charcoal and sell them at very low prices. It is a good business to buy them there and sell them in a town location where it is used by many. Here in Nigeria, charcoal business still in still on because some parts still make use of coal for different purposes, it's better to target these locations
