In winter, the price and consumption of coal increases. In our country, like other countries, coal is imported from outside.I would like to ask you for advice on how to sell coal in winter season.?

Is it possible to make good profit if coal is bought and stored in summer and sold in winter?

Quite a point you've raised there Bro, electricity tarrifs are on the rise.
But maybe we can improvise and use gas stoves to avoid the electric stove that consums power.
Of the above, charcoal still remains affordable
Yeah you are very right brother.
Even though there are many alternatives available to charcoal right now, but charcoal is still affordable.

Yeah. I have the same feelings about charcoal business. Its impact on the safety of the environment is very dangerous and it can lead to desertification which is not good.
Yeah, a lot of investors are actually moving away from it for that reason. Nobody wants to be linked to ventures that can potentially harm the environment. Everybody is now trying to go green.

And since there are now many alternatives to the usage of charcoal, it's gradually losing customers in many developing places that are advancing in technology.

Yes, exactly! Many countries want to be seen as moving away from anything that harms the environment. Everyone is now all about clean renewable energy!

It is very possible to make good of selling coal. This was my granny major source of income before he passed on. He did make money daily from it's sale. So anyone can go ahead

Sure, almost all the individuals are upgrading their efforts to be able to afford the renewable source of energy since it's less disadvantageous.

Yes, they are! And what's more, people are becoming increasingly precious about doing whatever little bit they can to do their bit for the environment. People want to feel like they are contributing towards eco-friendly causes.

Sure, and that is what makes the 21st century different from the other past ones. We need to do our best and contribute much on the safety of our environment.

Exactly! I've always tried to do what's best for the environment within the best of my abilities, of course. And ever since COVID hit, I've been introspecting and trying to think what else I can do to help the environment. I hope there are many others out there thinking along those lines.

I believe most people are doing their best to also protect the environment like how we see it. Even at my place environmental protection and sanitation has increased tremendously when COVID set in.

Yes, more and more people are becoming enlightened and wanting to do something for the environment. In my country, the private sector, especially the safari industry is doing great things. Even individuals are keen. I just wish the government would do more **sigh**.

I heard a lot about the Safari industry and l'm glad they are making efforts to protect the environment and the health of the people as a whole.

Concerning if an individual should invest in charcoal. Well, I think it is not actually a bad idea but doing that kind of business will mostly have an impact in the rural areas, where it can be done there and later transported to the urban areas like companies to be sold
I understand, but don't you think they should always try to replant any tree they might use for the charcoal production so as to help protect the environment?

Yea,I think investing in charcoal business is nice, because it is profitable.and it must be well stored in a dry place during raining season to avoid shortage

In my opinion, it depends on many things. The government and its policies, availability of alternative fuels, etc. Investment in charcoal production is one thing, buying low and selling it high is another thing I think.

Yes, it's great! I mean, going as far back as the 1990s, there's always been safaris companies that lean heavily on solar rather than the national grid. But now it's even better because many of them are 100% eco-friendly. It's not only good for the environment, but it appeals hugely to the tourists as well.

Ohhkk, l'm glad they are very eco-friendly especially. I hope if the pandemic slowed down one day I can travel over there to visit some of them and learn more about them.

That is one business I have heard about for a very long time ago but the problem I had was no one was willing to give me useful information on how to go about the exportation of charcoal to other countries. I don't know if the export duties will be high or low.
The export duties l guess would be set by your country's port policies and you can try contacting those authorities to know better how they set their policies.

Over the years charcoal has proven to be a good investment for some countries of the world and it has in no doubt contributed to growth of the nations economy. It is a business worth considering.
