Some of them have escrow service built into them now. Escrow have begin to become the new standard of eCommerce platform. It's important.

I use shopee sometimes. I do not frequently shop online because I despise paying its delivery fee. I look for the products first in the local store shops before consulting online-shopping sites.

Really? Where do you live? Here in my country there's no delivery fee after me put in the shopping cart a certain amount of items (there's minimum price for free delivery).

Not in all Asia, just a fraction of it. It's mostly has customers in Southeast Asian countries.

The only drawback of this platform is that Tencent owns a taske of it, which may lead to some nasty stuff if goes unchecked.

Yes it's a very good feature to have Escrow features.But I just do not know how much you have to pay for you to access the Escrow fee?
