I don't usually advise people coming new into the crypto-currency market to invest in meme coins or shit coins because of their high volatility and they could disappoint if one is not lucky.

It is both a dog, however i think that the breed of the dog is different for both of them, however this can be a very hard one to differentiate between as well.

I think dogecoin is a shiba though. Im not sure.. i was in a shiba inu community in Reddit and they keep saying Elon isn't promoting shiba and is sticking to doge

I think it won't be mix up ,since the name isn't that in any way related but different ,it's not like a fork of dogecoin ,so the effect would have shifted to dogecoin if there was a mix up
