Hello everyone,

I would like to inform you all that BitMex customers have already been transferring Bitcoins from the platform in huge numbers following mid-March BitMex has observed a 38 percent fall in its Bitcoin assets - from possessing 306,814 Bitcoins on March 13, this figure plummeted to 222,025 by April 9.

What does this depict about the trend of withdrawing bitcoins away from centralized exchange platforms?
Thanks for reading!

Could it be that those withdrawing their Bitcoin from bitmex envisage bankruptcy of the platform anytime soon cos personally I don't think it makes any sense withdrawing from one platform to another.

That should just be the reason for the massive withdrawal nobody want to lose his or her funds when it clearly enough that a platform is losing money.

I hope the platform has been able to redeem the loss and retain the members now, any exchange plaform needs to be up and running in so many activities to enable to survive and be sustained.

I think people are scare of investing more because of the happenings and it might keep dropping more if nothing is been done I just hope things get better

Ofcourse investor are always on alert with the company they put their investment on . Any slightest issue results in them removing their investment from the site . This was the case here

People don't like hearing anything negative about a site ,if they do the next is to move their assets to a safe place. No one is willing to loose their coins.

Am still wondering like when binance had some sort of ddos attack news like this didn't come up, like investors had so much trust in them , so it depends on the company

Binance is a bigger Exchange platform that has gained reputation already as compared to this bitmex that may not have more than 100k bitcoin in stock .

Yeah there are also regulation and trust their customers have with them ,so no doubt it depends on the kind of platform that's been affected

Not to be negative, but I doubt that things will be getting better for the soon. The site had not built a solid foundation with good reputation before all the happenings, so it is not strange that they do not have the trust of investors.

I know that binance is under some regulations but I don't know about them so if they don't have much good will or proof of their legitimacy then they might lose more customers
