I think it is possible to lend your friend your PayPal address so that when they withdraw, you receive the payment and then pay them in cash later. But doing this can make a site owner think you have multiple accounts because they all have same PayPal address as payment method.

Is it safe to share PayPal address with a friend who doesn't have PayPal?

When you talk about money, it will never be safe, especially if you dealing with large amounts.
Never share your personal Paypal.
You're absolutely right buddy. It's never safe to share your PayPal with anyone and I don't even share it with my brother or my family lol. I think it's like our bank password and we should not be even allowed to share it with anyone. But I think if two persons are using the same PayPal but are at different location than the website shouldn't take much notice of it as they can be assure that they are different persons.

i totally agree with you, we can not trust on anyone in this matter . and on other hand it can create clash between two friends , may be and m oney should not come in between relations.

I agree you cant share your paypal with anyone.
but in other cases if this person is trustworthy you can take a risk.
enable for it to not look like a duplicate account there's an option in paypal to add email address, and give it to your friend you will still receive the payment in same account.
take note: just give the new email add, dont include the password.

I dont think so. It is really risky. It is risking your money and risking your relationship to that person at the same time. LOL. Many friendships have been destroyed because of money matter, we know that. Maybe it would be better if you just help them make their own paypal account. No issues. :D

Thats a better idea,
but you will only give them the new email add. password is not included, they cant open your paypal account you are the only one who can access it, But as you said its better to teach them made their own.

Yes, so they can also learn how to manage their own. Maybe one time payment will do, if you think you can really trust that person like what you said. But right after that, they can make their own account. ;)

I think that will only apply if his friend has no valid ID or under age if they have no id they cant have credit cards or bank account and theres no way for them to validate paypal and cant withdraw their funds.
But if they have id's theres no reason for not creating their own account.

Never share your paypal to anybody it can be use by purchasing without your consent when it comes to online saving money i should use it for my self than sharing to other people like friends. we don't know what will happen if we share our accounts to them we might get suspended or get scam remember personal accounts must be personal do not share

Yes you are right. Some of the banks allow students below 18 years old to make bank account, but the amount they can deposit is limited.

Thanks for this useful information. I had forgotten that it is possible to add more emails in PayPal account. That is very helpful and I might consider doing it for a friend who needs money because I know they can trust me to not steal their money.

I totally agree with you, Mr. B. No matter whatever circumstance, you shouldn't share your PayPal account. Also, most sites require you to have your own PayPal account.

I think paypal should be only given address to the people who are about to pay you. And even in this case you can make use of the invoice options on paypal. And those are more secure. I have found that those are some good options. These days some sites are also asking the payment through the payoneer and the bitcoin. So it can be useful for sure. I think these days cryptocurrencies can solve this problem of privacy.

It is not advisable to share the PayPal address with your friends or relatives. It does not take much time to create a PayPal account. You only need to verify your email address and bank account. Verification of bank account may take couple of days.

If someone cannot have their own PayPal account, it makes me think either they don't have any skill or they are planning to do something illegal. In both cases, you will face the consequences if you lend your PayPal account.

Don't ever think about it. It is very dangerous.

:D I must confess that I have been thinking about it but I won't anymore. I clearly see how dangerous it could be and I will help my friends open theirs instead.

And why would you do that? Just tell your friend to create his or her paypal account. It is not so hard to that and it will only take him or her a few minutes to register.

Sharing a Paypal address is not a big deal. You have not given them control of your account. It is you them who should be worried :D. It is like receiving MPesa cash on behalf of someone. However, you need to know the source of their money because you can be charged back on Paypal. If it is money from freelancing work it is OK.
