In my opinion LinkShare is very user friendly however they don't have that much pay per lead and pay per sale programs we can find at ShareASale. Since I like to have many programs I recommend ShareASale as well to you, brand new affiliate marketers.

LinkShare had a min of $1 payout and this year(June 2014) they switched to $50 min payout like ShareASale use to have.

I recommend you to sign up with both affiliate programs and stick with one you see performing better.

I suggest you promote related products and services with decent commission per sale. It's very important your site topic.
For example if you publish information about domain names and web hosting you can apply for many products to promote from ShareASale, from GoDaddy to 1&1 domains and web hosting services. Good luck!

From research I have come to realize that if one doesn't need more of clicks than conversion then the best option is to advertise products related to one's niche because most people that visit one's site have interest for that particular niche than others.So if they see stuff that they like related to the niche,they are likely to check out and buy.So go more for products related to your niche.Write some reviews about the products and inserts the affiliate links.

Most of the offers on shareasale are cost per sale offers.. But there are Some Cpa offers.. You can promote those Cpa offers To Make Some Quick Money..

Definitely its a legit website.. Im a publisher of shareasale..they have lots of cps and cpa offers in every niche.. currently im not working on shareasale.. Got couple of cpa conversions earlier..

I honestly love their system. The affiliates are good. And the amount of programs in there pay immediately too. Like only 30 days windows. and they are kind of recurring payment for the some programs as well. it is legit for sure. and it can be good for joining many programs. though a lot of programs are good for the coupons based type of the websites. and it can add some really good income stream if you get it right.

ShareASale is great in lots of ways. For one thing, it's the first affiliate program I've ever joined that pays you to get other people to join. You earn $1 if someone signs up through your referral link. I have earned commissions from sales of products but only every now and then; not consistently The minimum payout is $50. You can share product links via Pinterest. This company has a good reputation.

My only advice is that you keep a check on your vendors. Sometimes they go offline or are low on funds. Sometimes the links that you shared are inactive. You need to check them from time to time.

Other than that, I think every newbie affiliate marketer should start with ShareASale.

I read the article of Shareasale. It will take a long time to reach the minimum as, it takes time to earn an affiliate commission.
What is the payment method of this affiliate marketing program ?

Could you please suggest a PPL (Pay Per Lead) vendor in the ShareASale program where you have had successful conversions and how you advertised their affiliate links? Did you use Twitter or social media marketing? Did you create a website? Etc. If you don't mind sharing your secrets that is.

I think there are not many PPL program but more of PPS (Pay per sale) one. Because shareasale focuses on the sales rather than mere leads. You may want to check out the peerfly network if the PPL is what you are looking for. Most of the PPL networks allow social media marketing and it can be pretty effective too.

So I have been using the shareasale's social sharing feature. And as they say FTC requires disclosure for the ads etc. I get that part. But what I am struggling with is that if we use those social sharing features, add the links. And get the sales. Do they get credited after verification of the tweet and social media post where we have disclosure notice? I am kind of skeptical about the sales being credited like this for the affiliates.

Have you used Viglinks anywhere feature or social media sharing feature in the Shareasale? Have you got credited for the sale?

I just got approved by ShareASale today. I can't tell how I feel. I remember trying to get approved 3 years ago twice, and I didn't. This time I have been approved!

I have come across many... in fact almost all the websites I come across and want to promote are partnered with ShareASale and I can't promote them if I didn't join ShareASale.
This has been pain in the butt for a long time. For instance, there's a product I saw, that pays $100 to refer a free sign up and they are partnered with ShareASale only so I couldn't join their program. But now, I can!

This is extremely great for me. Now the ball is on my court, and I am gonna play it right.

Good for you and congrats on the new shareasale approval. I'd say find out all those affiliate programs you wanted to join. And start promoting them aggressively. They need to see your regular payout before they can approve you on higher affiliate programs. I have been pretty consistent on some programs so far.

I made $60 from ShareASale once. I sold an home decor and that was the commission. I use to publish pages at a website set up for affiliate marketers. That site no longer exists. I have been trying to recreate the magic and sell more products for that vendor. Have not been successful. But ShareASale is definitely LEGIT.
