The SEC is a division that specializes in securities, and that was the primary concern when it came to the ripple lawsuit that happened at the start of the year (and could still be ongoing if I am not mistaken). Anyway, according to one of the senators in the United States of America, who is Senator Pat Toomey, he says that the SEC has no business in being involved with the regulation of cryptocurrency because cryptocurrency is not deemed to be a security. Do you agree with this senator in his thoughts or do you think that the SEC has express right to be involved within this process?
