❕NEWS SEC Argument against Ripple are weak - Attorney Hongan

The legal battle between the SEC and Ripple has been on serious argument between both parties with Ripple clarifying the SEC that it is just an exchange medium like bitcoin, ethereum and other coins not seller of unregistered security. The Attorney in person of Jeremy Hogan commended the ripple team for wonderful presentation of their case, Hongan condemned SEC wasting lots of paragraphs in mulling over the idea of whether XRP was a currency.
Hogan said did not matter, as "a security is a security no matter what you call it" and "that was the heart of the Howey test."
He therefore said the evidences produced by SEC lack substance and are very weak. The trial is said to continue on Monday.

The fact is that the two parties are not yet really serious to end the issue. They keep adjoining the case over and over. This can be discouraging.

It is not over until is over, I don't think SEC has another evidence to present to the Court. The law suit is good as closed, I don't see any other evidence SEC has.

What if they actually intended to do this case to boost XRP? Imagine if they win.. or they are actually really intended to win from the start.. that would give it a boost for sure

With the way i am seeing it , i guess ripple would soon win that case and it would be a good one for them and they would gain more investors again, but why are second focused on only xrp there are other coins now

Most people are just saying SEC can't even defend itself over the issue, and they are even saying that is why the man that filled the case against ripple resigned. From many indications it's clear that ripple will win this battle.

I think this a good development on the ripple case, more indications to buy xrp while low and wait till after the suit as it's looking good already
