The government of Russia is considering different ways to bouycot US sanction and reduce the use US dollars for international transactions, this by implication digital Currencies is their next option.

The update came through the Aleksandr Pankin, deputy minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia .

I think many of their citizens are storing their flat currency in USD and use it for transaction including crypto like transaction ,it will be good if they create their digital currency to boost their exchange rate

not really but just like in Nigeria if you want to do any international transactions you will have to use US dollars so it is in Russia, so that government is trying to bouycot that for cryptocurrencies.

Yeah I think that is what I am trying to explain , because the whole aim of the thing is to boost the value of their currency when compared to usd on the exchange market

Why I like Russia is the fuzz to become a boss on their own,by them implementing this decision,it will limit whatsoever leverage unites States have against them,in the long run it's the best decision.

This is why we have evolution. Things must always evolve so if this is for the digital age then we need the change. The use of digital money is just the right thing to adopt

No doubt the use of digital currency is inevitable because we can see more than 60 to 80 countries are already working on their own digital version of Fiat currency we should definitely metamorphosize to use of cryptocurrency with time.

Most international transactions are done using the US currency. Fighting against the US should be given a second thought. Besides, Russia doesn't have a good cause to do so.

Umm, not sure if that is a good idea. National reserve is usually used to help a country's economy that experiencing downturn. Reserve should be stable, digital assets are not stable

What Cryptos would they opt for? It would be a very risky decision to convert all their reserves into volatile coins such as bitcoin but again, ñothing stops the country from having a side stash of btc to fall on if need arises.

That's good and I think it's not a bad idea if they should implement such change. The world is evolving as someone earlier stated so we should learn how to evolve with it

That's nice, because cryptocurrency is a worldwide accepted currency. Their is nowhere you'll go with cryptocurrency which you can't find something to exchange it with. It is a very good alternative to boycott the sanction bestowed on them by the USA government. They are vast in thinking, I believe crypto will serve in that capacity if they utilize their plan well.
