A new statement has been made regarding the denial of the SEC lawsuit, which has been spoken for a while. Making a statement in a Tweet, the Ripple CEO asked that the case be dismissed and announced that a 5-page petition has been prepared for it.
What do you think about this development and what could it be?

It would be an excellent development if that would happen. For the CEO to make such statement supported by filed petition means they have a solid case to counter the lawsuit.

That is exactly what should have been done since, because the law suit hold no water, so instituting an appeal for the case to be dismiss is the right decision.

They should just dismissed it already.. like even people from SEC are agreeing that they didn't do anything wrong and what they did isn't illegal

I am not sure about all the legalities ın this case but I cannot believe the SEC would bring Ripple to a court case if there was no wrongdoing involved in their opinion. Would of course help the stability and price of ripple if case was dropped.

They had to say this because the several trial seatings they've had has been in favour of the company so it like SEC is distracting them.

The last update I read about the trial the judge blasted the SEC for not having strong evidence against Ripple, this may boost ripple confidence of winning .

I think it will just be a shame on the part of the SEC leaders to dismiss the case. If they knew they didn't have enough evidence why did they give investors worries by filling the case in the first.

I think ripple are confident in the case and they are going tonight it , and i still don't know why sec are still on it , its taking too long for now

Yeah i think they might lose their reputation a little when it comes to crypto currency , that is why they are still on ripple case i think despite proof

The SEC really caused a set back to ripple , I think if ripple wins the case SEC should pay for damages, if not for them the speed ripple was moving them by now $3 should be their target.
