So I thought about this model which used to be very famous in the past. Where people used to buy the software from the re sellers. And they tend to make some good money. Today due to internet this business is gone online. But the demand still exists. For example I remember signing up for some office specific suite which allows one stop shop service for all the online tasks. And that company had the reseller and the partner services that can be useful for those who like selling.

Here onboarding through partner gives you more percentage and also retaining that client makes you money? Have you ever thought about this model of business?

Yes, I have because I know the business could be a Lucrative one if properly done. I'm just looking at different areas now online where I can start my online business. Starting with software reselling wouldn't be such a bad idea.

This is a good business model. the only thing you have to do is create a website for your software products and then do SEO or paid marketing for your products

i will say that partnering with an ads company and maybe giving their software in exchange will help spread the word out but surely you need t create buzz and best option would be to target people on Facebook via purchasing ads ( research must be done )

So this job is similar to .. say distributors in the movie business is it ? You buy from a big company and then sell it to customers ? Would be hard to get clients (clients who's software would actually sell) and would be even more hard to find customers (so many softwares out there). With marketing done properly, this would be a hit but it will require some initial investment from your end.

there's a better alternative if you're creative enough , but it's about android applications , which is called 'reskin' , i'm sure the majority knows about it , which is about editing open source applications and reposting them on play store with integrating admobs ads inside them to earn money .

It is very good business @OP, you just ensure you are getting the right software's from a reliable company so as to build a good customer base for your business which is capable of fetching good money daily with little or no stress.

you can't say a business, but more like an individual work, because you're basically offering digital products and you're working from home alone, you just get your hands across a digital product and resell it, more like dropshipping except that there are no shipping things or something similar

you can't say a business

Every activity that has potential to earn you money can be classified as business.

Besides, is this whole "software reselling" legit? If you hide a software download link behind a url shortener for example, that's simply a piracy.

It is indeed a business because you will use your money to buy the softwares and resell to users at a higher price , if you are reliable in terms of softwares that you sell people will continue to patronise you and you keep making money.

It's a lucrative business for real. But as you have said to get a good company and legit company to target will be the issue. I'm looking into becoming a better website creator.
Do you mean website creator to creat your own site?.
To get legit companies to buy bulk softwares from and resell, it all about Google search and read reviews about the suggested companies before taking decision.

Thanks for the tips! I'm willing to learn to create websites, softwares and sell them to companies. I just want to see who will teach me this stuff. I'm learning online though
I don't software development goes for free any where , there online sites to learn them , you can check if Udemy can offer paid courses on soft ware development m

OK thanks for the recommendation! I just hope to learn their won't be that costly. Anyways, I will check and see. Thanks again.
If what you will get from the mentorship is worth it then it won't be expensive, you can also check out their free courses though they are not as richly package like the paid courses.

There are a lot of courses online covering all kinds of fields, from dropshipping to software development. And if you look harder you can even get them all for free.

Like I said the ones you get for free are just too of the iceberg, they only gear you up to learn more by buying the paid courses . I had the experience when I was searching for free courses on Affiliate marketing.

Yes, I have also seen such courses being offered online. I know places where I can learn software development, both online and offline. It is a great skill to learn and earn from in this era.

Everything that exists on the internet, you can obtain for free, if you know where to look, since some of those exclusive courses can only be found behind "invite-only" hacker forum for example.

I know the more you search the more you know, people who don't have access to such classified information just need to subscribe to paid course they could also become experts such they won't pay to get access to information.

this business is still up in the market, selling serials keys and activation codes, also they do this with games nowdays selling accounts and games codes like steam codes
