The Co founder of Reddit , Alexis Ohanian according to information gathered from crtptobriefing has made it clear that he has ethereum to occupy greater percentage of his portfolio.

He gave his reasons for his investment in ethereum to the fact that ethereum has wide range of application. It was also revealed that he has introduced ethereum base token .

Yeah especially considering the fact that is very affordable now compared to bitcoin and it has many use cases as stated above in the thread

That is true. If we are to go by the projections of ethereum price in the future, it is better to get some now that its price is about 1/16th of bitcoin price.

Exactly am planning on getting more ethereum by the end of this month . Ethereum will soar high despite the high gas fee issue

That's the major challenge here , and if only ethereum can work on their gas fee I believe things will get better for small investors .

You are right , ethereum fee is a lot in comparison to bitcoin ethereum can only outperform other currencies if they fix their transaction fees to maximums of 1$

Yeah. I wonder why all the efforts being made by ethereum developers to reduce it's transaction fee seems to be fruitless.

The answer is that the company wants heavy fees to make more money from people consider 5x fees than bitcoin and even if no of transactions of ethereum are 50% then bitcoin still they are making 2.5 times in fees than bitcoin developers. This is the reason they have kept the fees high

I don't think so , for every transaction miners fee is paid with other fees . If it is within their power to reduce the fees they would have don so long ago because they are already losing customers

The issue is that , it is not easy blocking such site at first . Also they do not use blockchain for their site because it will be an obstacle to their evil intension

You are right , but all these things use resources and when they get limitsd , either you have to increase transaction fees or you have to upgrade the network

That will not be a problem for them , all they need to do is to rewrite the script over and over and then they are back in action. That's why it is easier for them to do

If there is one crypto that does have (and will in my opinion) a chance to overtake BTC it is ETH. After the 2.0 update I would bet it will start its rise. Obviously I've invested in other cryptos too, but mainly in ETH. So this comes at no surprise. I would suggest anyone who invest in crypto to start with ETH, and then you can start looking at other stuff.

I am not sure if I am doing wrong maths, but is the price not just a secondary aspect ? You buy a coin or a fraction of it and then the growth or growth potential is the key. Anyway I might be wrong!
Most importantly, I am trusting to ethereum very much for the same before named reason. IMHO, both BTC and ETH are kind of safe harbor of crypto.
