Popular forum and information hub Reddit is finally bringing their own cryptocurrency. A new wallet system has been introduced in the forum and many users got excited seeing this. The wallet is used for storing points that can be earned and also be transferred. The points can only be used inside Reddit.

Oh wow, I am honestly really excited for this one because I am an avid user of reddit and I am willing to prepare to collect some of the Reddit Crypto... btw is the Reddit crypto wallet ready already?

Good to hear that. Is it like BMF coin ? Or the Reddit coin cannot be used to exchange it other cryptocurrencies ? Let's see how it goes I am going to finally register in Reddit now. I was just like a guest there these days.

That sounds interesting. I heard that you can be tipped with Doge on Reddit, but having their own cryptocurrency does open many doors. If it will work, that is. Anyway, I'm looking forward to it. I have been a guest so far on Reddit two.

Hey there, the thing you said about tipping with Dogecoin, is that legit because that really sounds interesting, and I would like to try that out. Anyways, do you know when this Reddit coin is coming out please do let me know. Thanks

I have just read about it, never tried it actually. It is written on the main dogecoin site, https://dogecoin.com/ , that's where I started when I google'd for some info about Doge. And I also recommend the wiki page, fun :)

About Reddit's own crypto, I'll hope everyone will update this thread with news when they come.

Okay so Reddit is basically a massive online forum with loads of subreddit where millions of people discuss and share ideas and thoughts and there also a lot of news on there and its basically a different form of a social media website... however, it is not a paid-to-post website.

This is a good one for Reddit users, it will be more exciting to gather these coins especially if they have higher value of exchange but can the points be withdrawn to be used else where?

I am not a member of reddits but I have read about the site to be very legitmate and rewarding. Introduction of a wallet system is a good one, this may prompt them to launch a coin.

As of now, it is still only usable inside the Reddit forum. I think the possibility to be cashout might happen in the near future same as here in BMF.

This is a very good news can't wait for it to be launched ,at least there should be a way users can earn reddit by posting on the forum
Its will increase the number of users in the platform

If users adopt the use , I guess it might be listed on exchange sites to get other crypto currency , that's if they want to do so and when the number of users increases

Any update regarding this Reddit-backed cryptocurrency? I read a news somewhere that now more and more Redditors are using Ethereum on Reddit, not this new coin.

They're using ethereum on the site, not their own cryptocurrency, not sure what happened to it, maybe they abandoned it since ethereum is more favourable to them? I'm not sure.

Maybe its because of its versatility and wide useage , people might want to use it because they believe others who want to trade using it with them ,will also have the coin
