I used it many times to recover my files in my SD cards
I tried it once for my computer but it didin't really recover anything

If your HDD is old enough then without formating you will start losing files for no absolute reason, most of HDDs have a life span of 10-11 years after that they start having issues, the perfect solution is to use them only for storage and use a SSD for your system instead

I use it before when I lost important files but I didin't find it very useful, like it recover some files that I don't really what they are and Icouldn't find what am searching for

well, it's your own mistake, you should have filtered the results based on what's the extension of the files that you're planning to recover and which drive you're focusing on

trust me I really did that but I never got a good results, it's doesn't really recover everything and most of the files that get recovered are just junk files and cash
