In the early hours of the morning today, Ethereum has reached yet another all time high price in which the barrier of 1.7k USD was broken. This is tremendous growth for the Ethereum coin, however this may not be the end of the rally for Ethereum. According to one economist, it seems that he is expecting the coin to soar even further this year. Raoul Pal says that he is expecting the price of Ethereum to reach 20k by the end of this year. Do you think that this prediction could come true? I think that it may be a bit too high, and just seeing a price of 5k would be a terrific development. What are your thoughts on this?

Well if you say so. But it always good to make personal research before investing in a coin, that way you are personally convince that you made a better choice
I read about Crypto currencies a lot and I know the kind of coins to invest on because I have very good reasons while they have bull run.

I think Ethereum is taking a kinda different path from bitcoin, its rise is not as bullish as Bitcoin that can increase in leaps of thousands of dollars in just a few days. ETH will surely rise in price but that prediction is too unrealistic.
This is the only problem I do have with prediction, the figures are always too unreasonable and unrealistic. Eth current price is still at 1.7k so 20k usd this year sounds off

Ethereum reaching 20k by the year end seems kind of far fetched to me but I'm not entirely ruling it out as ethereum is still less than 2k now bits lot could still change

Seeing that ethereum could rise to almost $4,000 from $2,000 in just some few weeks then ethereum just might reach $20k as predicted.
This is highly likely. I think that in a few years time ethereum will be where bitcoin is now. Of course by that time i expect bitcoin to increase drastically, but ethereum can be within that range by then.

I believe what will happen is that as ethereum is rising , Bitcoin is rising as well thus the probability of ethereum getting to Bitcoin value is limit

Given that ethereum has a higher number of transactions which show a higher number of influx which is a factor for boosting a coin, eth might just be the next bitcoin.

I think that the one factor that may push ethereum to that level of being very competitive with bitcoin is if they had to adjust and work on the transaction fee. If that had to come down, it would be chosen over bitcoin for transactions.

It would surely change and move more than that just like the recent movement and changes in the price of ethereum

Yeah that could definitely help but bitcoin also has a high transaction fee but of course it would be of advantage if ethereum was profitable and still had lower fees.

Yes this is one of the main reasons that people try to avoid using these coins for payment, and i think that it is what has thrown ripple into the works and made it so successful because it can offer low transaction fees. If ethereum can do then it will surely overtake bitcoin.

Ethereum would not overtake bitcoin if the fees is low as ripple , it will only be on ripple level ,its because ethereum have more transaction rate due to high demand that make the price move high

However do you not think that if the fees were on the same level as ripple that people will start to use it more and that will increase the demand of a currently high valued coin which would take it to the point of being competitive with Bitcoin?

Not just ripple but other alt coins too like doge, BNB etc are getting popular because of their lower transaction fees and I wonder why eth and btc still have high transaction fees with all the competition.

These coins are unable to manage the traffic on their network well and that is why there need to be high miner fees in order for your transaction to be confirmed. This shows a lack of development in that sense in these coins.

I hope this predictions are achievable, if etheruem could spring up to this level, it would be nice and I am also thinking of investing on it.
It would be best to invest in it as soon as possible, because if these predictions are correct this shows a major upward trajectory for ethereum, and with a slight dip in the price currently this may be the perfect opportunity to buy the coin.

Really, it can't all be the coins fault as those coins run on blockchain technology which has been given the mandate of transacting for them.

Etherum wi surely hit 20k but the time is not anywhere near. It will take time to reach there. At least I think in this year, it can't reach that level. If it can reach 10k level, that is also sufficient.
