Postloop Review 1.png

Postloop is a Paid to Post (PTP) service where writers can earn money from posting on forums and for forum owners to buy content for their sites.

How Does It Work?
Forum owners purchase Points from Postloop. This is where the writers get their points from. Writers are credited points in exchange for their posts. 1 Point = $0.05 Pretty straightforward.

How to Earn Money:
1. Upon sign up, you are instructed to write 10 posts on their forum called The Postloop Portal. After writing the required 10 posts, it will take them a day or two to review your posts. The quality of your posts will determine the Rating you'll receive. The length, spelling, grammar and "meat" of your post will be judged here. This rating is very important as it will determine what forums you'll be allowed to post to. The higher the rating, the more forums you get to post to.

2. Once you get your rating, you will now have access to the subscription list. You need to register on other forums to start earning points. Click Write Content on the top bar of the site. It contains the list of forums that are on Postloop's system with their corresponding minimum rating to post. You can only subscribe to forums with ratings equal to or lesser than your own Rating.

3. Upon clicking the +Subscribe button, you'll get an overview of what the owner demands on your post. Quality and relevant posts and more than 3 lines per reply is the typical requirement of forum owners from writers. Some even indicate what sections of the forums you're allowed to post in. Not following the instructions can lead to getting kicked out or banned altogether from the forum itself.

4. You have to go to the forum of your choice to create your account there. Most of the time, forums require you to activate your account by confirming using your email. After creating your account, go back to the Write Content page and to the forum of your choice. Click +Subscribe and enter the username and email you used to sign up on that forum. Agree to all terms set by the owner and click Subscribe.

5. You are now able to earn points by posting on those forums! To see the forums you've signed up to, go to Dashboard ->Your subscriptions. To further understand how the Postloop system works, we have to know a few terminologies:
postloop payments.png

  • Active Subscriptions contain the list of forums that are active and crediting points to its users.
  • Site Points is the amount of points a forum has available to credit writers. If a forum has a negative value on their site points, do not post on them as you will not be credited points. A common rookie mistake is that even if a site is on the Active subscriptions list and has negative site points, they'll still post thinking they'll still get credited. Don't waste your time.
  • Daily is the number of posts you're allowed to write on that forum. Should you exceed this number, you'll only get credited for the maximum number of posts allowed and not for the surplus posts. Another common rookie mistake is that posting over the daily limit of posts thinking the surplus will carry over the next day. The surplus posts will not be credited even on the next day. Once the day is over, the daily post limit will reset.
  • Points Earned is the amount of total number points you've earn on that site. Points given by sites vary greatly each day. There is no fixed rate for posts. On forums that require admin moderation before your posts will be approved, you will only receive points when your posts are approved. On forums that don't require post approval, points will be credited to your account in 20-60 minutes from the time of posting.
  • Inactive Subscriptions is where forums that are Offline, Removed, Pending or Banned from Postloop. Forums that have negative Site Points are located here. Once a forum replenishes their points, they will go back to the Active Subscriptions list. Another common rookie mistake is they continue posting on forums despite being in the Inactive Subscriptions list. You cannot earn points from these forums even if they have positive Site Points left. Forums that you've reached the daily posting limit in also appear here with an Over Daily Limit status.

Note: Not all forums on Postloop's system credit points. Sometimes there are sites that don't credit at all even if you've posted many times on their forums. The best thing to do is to report those sites by selecting Report under the View button beside the forum in question. It happens sometimes and so a good practice is to do a practice post on every new forum you join. Only do 1 post and wait for them to credit you points before proceeding to write more posts.
Ionicware forums (PixelClerks, ListingDock, SuperiorThan, WordClerks and SEOClerks) are owned by Postloop themselves and these forums are sure to credit and regularly replenish their Site Points. Most of the points you'll be earning are from these sites.

Referrals
Postloop also has a referral system wherein you earn an additional 20% of all the points your referral earns. Your referrals need to get a rating before you can start earning from them.

Note: This does not mean you earn less points because you signed up under a referral link. Your referrer gets additional points equaling your points earned from Postloop themselves.

How Are You Paid?
Payout Requirements:
Minimum of $5.00 worth of accumulated points & Rating must be higher than the Average Rating of all Postloop users (3.87 as of 11/01/18)

1. Go to Dashboard -> Withdraw Funds

2. Fill out the Amount to Withdraw (Amount and PayPal email address), Personal Information (Details must match your Paypal account name and address)

3. Click I agree to all terms stated above

4. Click Withdraw

If you had no prior transactions done using your PayPal account (i.e. new account), PayPal will hold your payment for review before crediting the amount to your account. This can take 1-3 days time. You'll receive an email regarding the transaction. Otherwise, it takes 24 hours maximum to receive your payment from the time you requested it.

Note: The points and amount will be automatically deducted from your Postloop account. Don't worry. It's getting processed by the staff. You'll receive an email regarding your request to cash out shortly.

Attached are payment proofs of mine:

I am very eager to join this website. But!
I will need somebody with the experience to direct me how to successfully apply and pass that dreaded gateway exam.
I saw people with better skills than me failing on it so any instruction would be extremely welcome and helpful.

When you are joining new forums on postloop. Make sure you are not posting 1 liner replies. Also make sure to add 5 lines per reply. This way you'd not get bad rating. And you have to join forums which you can properly answer. Don't lie and create threads in off topic categories. So that you would not get bad rating. If you try to cheat the rules, you'd get bad ratiing as many owners there are tricky to play with.
That's well said. Actually I made a mistake on postloop when I joined a forum which clearly says that it will accept only North American users but I signed up and posted comments and this was my first and last mistake but after that the forum owner gave me a very low rating which decided my fate on postloop and now even I'm unable to withdraw my earnings from Postloop.

I have introduced the site postloop and I have my referral link above.

Are we able to leverage a referral program without being an active paid commentator on that forum?
The signup form says ' If you do not have excellent English grammar, you should not join Postloop. ' , and I believe my English is average , so a referral program can be a better option for me.

Actually, Postloop is not a money forum like BeerMoneyForum.com, they are a program that pays you to join and post in other forums.

I think it's acceptable but I guess if you don't have much experience of a website than it would be difficult for you to share much insights of that and thereby it'll affect motivation of others to join by your referral. So it's better to refer those websites of which you have good experience and also payment proof if you got paid from them.

Ok, I get it. They rent us to the clients who pay for the commenting service. I will try to join and see if a referral program is separate from a rent'a'poster part.

I am doing quite well at postloop. What is putting me off is that they recently talked of a revised postloop2. They also keep changing rules but many users do not follow the changed rules and Admin ignores those violations. I am waiting for postloop2 and have therefore not been active there since the last few days. I have a good rating there.

If the positive reviews of the Postloop and payments proofs alike are accessible online there will be no problem referring a website to others.
The Twitter, for example, is a pretty big market and I don't need to get overly personal with a Twitter users to send them an invitation.

What do you mean by Postloop 2 will they end the original one or are they planning to make another website with different rules and payment programme. I'm not any on postloop these days after I receive a low rating and after that I was unable to withdraw my money.

@SUPER SINGH I wish I knew. They made that statement in their support section quite some time ago but I do not see any change yet. Good or bad I want to follow whatever changes they will make.

It looks like some really bad forums are left. Like say two forums from iTommy one is forumweb and hosting discussion. Those two forums are out there. And it can be bad to be part of such forums. I suggest avoiding forums such as that. Otherwise this may affect your rating. Another thing there are some forums which are going quickly down with rating. So it depends on how good you do with their system, avoid posting in non niche forum.

You are right. I am only posting on two forums now owned by Ionicware. Two of the forums I used to post on went offline and to be honest I am a bit discouraged. I can't really join the other forums as I am not well versed on the topics being discussed on there.

Did you try any of the gaming forums? They're really nice and easy to post. Even if you don't play games you can find things to post in the general sections - I think there are two or three like that. Currently though, they're disabled because they ran out of points :D

I was currently posting on Game rebels but unfortunately the forum got disabled. This was a really good forum. I saw another gaming forum but after hearing that some got negative ratings from some forums I have decided not to post on any new forums.

Well, from my personal experience, the gaming forum owners are usually very nice and friendly. It's the other owners that are more ''demanding'' in a way that you post. This, of course, doesn't mean that you can just post a few words on the gaming forums but I don't think that I've ever gotten a bad rating from them before. Just post with common sense and I don't think that you need to be afraid :)

I am still waiting for new forum sites to be introduced. I always receive emails about Webmaster Sun getting disabled and enabled. However, some friends are discouraging some users not to post on them. I would be more careful in subscribing on forum sites because some forum owners can be mean for giving bad ratings.

I don't have much forums in my list. I have removed the forumweb and webmastere sun from my list. Also removed notification from my account. So it is not sending me anymore news and stuff. There seems to be some people getting rated frm that guy. And also it seems like the people who are posting there keeping it alive. I wonder how this is even possible. Either way i am not going back to such sites.

Forum Web and Webmasters Sun was owned by Tommy? I kept receiving emails that Webmasters Sun was disabled, then enabled again. I just hope more forum sites would be introduced. By the way, Teaching Thailand is back.

Postloop is a mixed bag.

The current owners seem to view it as a built-in support mechanism for their Ionicware brand. This is not necessarily a bad thing as it ensures at least one body of forums to post in, which can be semi lucrative (as far as content mills go, of course) if you have a high rating. I am fortunate enough to have a 4.6 rating right now, which I disclose for transparency's sake.

Lack of Concern

That said, the owners appear terse and unconcerned with the well-being of their writers. They are known to silence criticism on their in-house forum while they ignore calls for help with aggressive clients. As a writer, you are not a priority there. You simply cannot have a body of demoralized "employees" and do well.

It's unclear whether or not they're making any specific effort to advertise their services, and that lack of visibility shows in the very low-quality clients they've managed to attract thus far. Unlike years past in which Post Loop was the forum posting solution and had pages of clients, today most of the clients you are subscribed to will never renew their points. Some of the clients are quasi-scammy "get rich online and here's how" types, while others are well meaning but ultimately won't succeed no matter how well Post Loop renders their services because their forums are just too poorly formatted.

I know one very nice forum owner who's subscribed there, whom I like on a personal level and has been very generous to me, but who is trying to copy the format of a major product-specific forum. That's breaking SEO rule #1: Don't try to compete with the big dogs on listings that are already on lock down. Not only has he lowered the posting limit below what will actually serve him at all, but he also routinely lets his points expire for says at a time. What are we to do for him? Why has Ionicware not provided any kind of client-side education about what their forums need from them to succeed? After all, their success as forum owners is our success as writers!

Going Forward...

I won't say it's not worth it, just yet. But it's getting close. This site is on life support. If the owners don't act fast it will collapse. And all of this was said aside from the point that their software itself is grossly antiquated. They seem disinterested in modernizing their infrastructure which means the whole "new" world of social media posting is completely outside of their grasp. In a world in which the "organic" backlinking social media sites provide are frequently as valuable as the posts themselves, I'm not sure even their proposed software renovations are enough to keep the company afloat. It's a case of death by a thousand cuts over there.

Despite all that, despite the downright rude way you've treated me in the last month "certain someone who I'll have the common courtesy not to name", I'm still pulling for you. But you'd better get your act together.

Yes he has total three porperties - forum web, webmaster sun and internet marketing star. Another guy who is russian he owns health forum and vitamin forum. Both of these are very risky forums from that russian chap. Never make mistake of posting there. People have got like 1 star rating from him. You may however want to post on those new gaming forums which are good for short term ratings and for making posts.
