Porkbun is an American domain registrar based out of Oregon. Besides offering domains they also offer web and email hosting. Based on their pricing scheme they're similar to what Namecheap was a few years ago, where they'd give you a domain at well below market average for your first year. For example, you can get a .com domain for $4.15 and renew it next year for $8.56. That's pretty cheap considering that Namecheap renews at $12.98, IONOS at $15 and Godaddy at $18.17.
Their web hosting isn't definitely the cheapest but as they say, they're a domain registrar and not a hosting company. Their static hosting service (meaning it doesn't support server-side solutions such as PHP and NodeJS) is just $2 a month but Wordpress and cPanel hosting starts at $10. Their email hosting is $24 per year and gives you 10GB of space while Namecheap charges $9.50 per year for 5GB and OVH $26.96 for 10GB.
Porkbun also has an affiliate program. They track your referrals for 90 days and pay $0.50 commission to you on most domains (except some tiered ones and .com, which gives you nothing). In case of hosting, you get 15% of what they receive. I didn't bother to sign up for their program as you have to go through an application process.
On the payment options side they offer credit cards and PayPal like others. Unlike some of their competitors though they offer cryptocurrency payments. They accept Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Litecoin and USD Coin.
My personal experience with them has been pretty good for the short while I've been with them. The domain I registered came at the price they showed with no asteriks. I'm pretty sure that from now on I'm going to register all my domains with Porkbun as Namecheap has gotten more expensive and simply feels too cluttered with their dozens of services they try to up-sell to you. Even though Cloudflare offers cheaper renewals, I don't think I'm going to transfer my domains out of Porkbun to there simply to save 50 cents.
