The high transaction fees on the ethereum network has been a concern to many even discouraging a lot of small investors from taking on ETH. Thankfully, polygon has come to the rescue with many people taking interest in the recently launched network that has helped reduce traffic on the ETH network and consequently reducing transaction fees. According to trustnodes.com, the month of June has seen such decline in the fees after so many months of crazy fees.

Zksync is in partial mainnet and fully testnet. The gas fees is very cheap and it's fast. They're preparing to launch publicly this year. Arbitrum is popular as well and has more tvl than optimism. They'll launch publicly this year too.

I'm actually doing testnet airdrops. I did faucets on Goerli Testnet, and transferred it to Zksync, and currently testing with MES Protocol.

I certainly am not looking for new projects yet, due to the uncertainty of the market I am staying with the known that I will certainly be experiencing, although when the market clears up a little more I will start looking for new opportunities, it will probably be at the end of this year

There are new projects which gives airdrops. You don't have to invest money on it.

I don't trust that airdrop either. I don't think Polygon is giving away airdrop nowadays.

I do find airdrops on Twitter. I simply type on search "airdrop". However, you have to search which one has the potential because many are either scam or rug pulls.

Yes, I don't trust these airdrops or platforms that they leave here without leaving any proof, I don't trust them, on the other hand I'll look for those airdrops myself on Twitter to see what I find, what I don't know if I would trust is if I have to connect my metamask to any site, I have heard about many thefts in metamask for having connected your wallet to airdrop sites and others, and I have a lot of money in metamask, maybe I will make another metamask wallet for airdrops.

You can create multiple wallets on Metamask, or maybe create one on Trust Wallet. On Metamask, you have to hop in different networks in order to see which tokens you have received. On Trust Wallet, you can see the coins in one page. On Etherscan/BSCScan/PolygonScan, you can see which tokens are just scam or spam.
