Hey guys, I am quite new here and also to the "make money online" thing. I decided to start a blog and I already added some content. I know there is much to do at the site like proper editing for the entries, but right now, I need some input, if I miss something vital.
Am I missing something crucial?
It's my first website, I am quite unexperienced :-)
I don't wanna earn really much money with it, just with ref links there. That's why I don't wanna put adds there, it's more like an information blog.
Thanks a lot for your input.

A site with no ads might be a fine site, but 0% ads are 0% revenue because you are not certain if visitors will join the site. Still it is better to share ref links in popular sites. You if have ref links of some new site which is not in BMF, then you can post a short (100-200 character) review in BMF and post your ref link.
Also you can rent ref links / Blog links of other popular sites. Ask @Mr. B for it.

Thanks for the really fast reply, much appreciated.
Yeah, you are completly right with 0% revenue, but right now, it's my target to build a site and get some views first, my main focus right now is to become more experienced and learn a lot of things.
Maybe I will add a few adds or something later, haven't decided yet.

Thanks for the hint with the ref links, I will use the search function later and check, if I found something new. I doubt it, but I will try at least. :-)

There are sections for all sites, so use only related section.
And please be sure that you start thread of new site only, do not create a new thread for a site that is already posted; however you can post your ref link even there if you post comment with payment proof.
You may understand by reading Forum Posting Rules.

Add text like "Read more here about it" and "Register here". Otherwise it is just link on site. Also I could not make difference is it link directly on site or description.

Well, my dear new friend, welcome on BeerMoneyForum:Thumbsup:
First I would like to have the link of your site.
Maybe it will not be possible to post it directly here, so you could send it to me, via PM.
However here you will find dedicated sections.
Greetings Alessandro

Thanks for the welcome :-)
You can already find the link quite often in this topic, even in the first post.

But to spare you the trouble of searching for it, here you go :-)

Thank you. This is just what I needed. I will go immediately to read it.
I'm sure I'll find it very interesting.
Thanks and greetings Alessandro.

@Shanti I firstly like to congratulate you on your Blog and it was pretty good and easy to check and learn from your observations. You can try updating it more often and I am sure you will do better with time, Good luck.

It's very nice! My only criticism is that you should put each blog post in proper categories, not just putting every post in general. Also, I know you aren't very interested in advertising but you should consider it - just a small square advert in the side bar can improve the profitability of your blog by a reasonable amount. Apart from that, great site!

Yeah, you are right. I already made some categories, but I forgot about them :-)
I updated the categories for the old posts and I even decide to make a new post. If you are interested in my rant about offerwalls, feel free to read it and give me critic, thanks :-)

Too much information on the home page. It should have a simple overview of the most recent articles so return visitors can quickly see what new articles are added.
No ads which is nice, but you are wasting money since some visitors will never sign up for anything, but they are still a free impression you are missing out on.
Add a subscriber form (mail sign up list) so you can collect mails for re-targeting visitors that signed up.
More content on the site would be nice. You are also forgetting to retarget users in your articles.
By adding links to the sidebar to other articles on your site, and internal linking (aka referencing articles you made in your own articles) and posting interesting articles at the end of each article.
Screenshot below shows what I mean.
retargeting.jpg

By adding these links you can help visitors find new articles on your site they also might find interesting, making you and the visitor more money. Win=win situation.

Your articles are solid, keep writing like that, make sure to use keywords, and keep continuing to use images.
I also see you have a youtube channel, try to make reviews there, and link them to your site.
You can embed that video in the article on your site too.

Wow, thanks for your great critic. That's nice of you, I appreciate it.

I already thought about a mail list, the problem is, I live in austria, the new laws on data protection are quite harsh, it's not easy to implement such a thing without violating the laws.

The suggestion with recent articles at the bottom is a good one, thank you for that. I might include such a thing.

You are right about missing out income, because I don't have ads. But I like to stay that way. My main goal is not money, it's information. I really want to keep people from scams and give them some legit advice.

Thanks for your compliment to my writing style. You are right, I need to create more content, but currently, I am paid to write for a big german site and I am lacking a bit of time.

Regarding youtube, you are also right. I don't have enough time currently to make videos, but I want to make some more in the future. But this whole project is a bit of a hobby for me, that's why I create content as I have time.

Anyway, thanks for your great suggestions, you are a really cool guy :-)

@Shanti No problem, always happy to help a fellow blogger.
PS. Since the datalaws I started using Mailchimp since they automatically implement all the requirements needed for the rules (Im from Europe so I got hit with the same laws). Bit of getting used to it since its a huge mail-program with lots of features.
If you need help feel free to ask, I cant answer everything since im still learning a lot myself, but I picked up some information here and there.
Also check the moz seo guide (Not trying to sell you on something, its free, the guide is from a well known seo tool site), it helped me a lot learning how to focus on the important parts of having a website and gaining traffic, backlinks and other things you run into when developing a site.

Goodluck earning.

i liked the blog, only suggestion i have is i think you should add more sites that you are either using or have used in the past and were successful with and include your referral link on them to keep earning
