According to an information published by Gizchina, Playstation 5 can now be used for ETH mining. It is claimed that the Playstation 5 console was hacked and made suitable for mining. Images of mining being done through this system are shared on social media.
What do you think of this interesting development?

Ofcourse they have already started working towards it , because it has to do with their reputation . If they fail to solve it , they will lose customers .
Yes true. Their reputation is at stake here and if they don't work very fast enough to handle the issue by updating their system, they might lose their customers like you just said.

Its an interesting development and since some people find it really hard and expensive to buy a mining right for ethereum , i think they could use PlayStation 5

That is very bad using a particular product like PlayStation 5 made for gaming to use for mining ethereum. The question is how long can PlayStation 5 can it withstand the pressure and heat.
You make a valid point here. The PS5 is built for gaming, although it has 16gb ram and an octacore processor, it can mime ETH, but it's capabilitiea may wear out in the long run.

If you can hack it and configure it for mining, why not to mine with it.
By specifications, it looks like the gpu is high end and it is supposed to be like rtx 2060 or higher for the pc , which gave pretty good rate. I think with ps5, you can mine monthly $100 at least without any problem. It cant burn , because its cooling is still upgraded from ps4.

Really. This is a very interesting news. Now I can do both things gaming and mining. I thing if we hacked the playstation 5 then it might be possible that after doing this gaming is not possible on the console. By the way do you know how much hash rate playstation 5 is generating for the mining?
