The online business is booming. But in contrary, the local market is getting severely hit. Though the market is showing some sign of improvement, but still it will take time before it recover fully from Its lows.

To start a business after the pandemic, what should be your perfect amount of investment? I think for any small scale business, 5000 USD equivalent money will be sufficient. Though I know, that will mostly vary according to the country's inflation rate.

Yes it is good to always find out the business you need to start then have a plan that will give you a fair idea of how much you would be needed then you quote the money.
To success in any business finance management is must, it is not a question that business is a small shop or a big company. It is saying that small capital eat owner. So before starting any business first me estimate funds we needs.

the problem some people have is that when they want to start a business they are always looking for a way to start bigger without considering the capital they have and when you consider what you have and start small it's more better.

As for me I can not give any specific amount of money to start with but it depend on the type of business one is planning to invest or start with.

The perfect amount of capital cannot be said in any business unless there's planning. This is why a business needs to plan before venturing into business to know the amount of money to use in running the business

If you're to start an E-commerce store it wouldn't be enough. But if you want to operate offline and use online presence to promote it, without a shop then 500$ can be enough for a start of small business.

There may not be perfect answer for the question. This is because the answer depends greatly on the country and the type of bhsiness to start. The location as well maybe a decisive factor.

I think the perfect amount to start a business could be up to $500 ,in my country due to the value of our currency ,that amount is enough for you to start the business you want to start

I do agree. I was telling in a more Genrailse way. There is no doubt that the amount will vary according to the buisness type and business location.
Because you demand for the general amount. I think $50 can start some mini scale provision store in my country. In fact, there are some people that have not expanded beyond this amount and they are doing fine.

$50 can help you with an online store that offers something like Facebook and Twitter account along with email services to be honest ....in my opinion.

There is not a stipulated amount of money that should be set aside for starting a business. This would depend on the particular type of business that you will want to open and the type of material or equipment that is required in the first instance.

We can start a business with 5000 $ or even less , what about 3000 $ isn't a good amount to start with ?
I am thinking about raws business so you will rely on agriculture by buying one cow or two and produce raw milk then you can grow your business to sell all products of the milking .

Poultry business in south east Asia can be started with $3-5k which is good because it has good margin rates as people eat chicken more than beef and commission is good along with it

Yes it is good to always find out the business you need to start then have a plan that will give you a fair idea of how much you would be needed then you quote the money.
As we are talking of amount for a startup, the type of business should be determined first and valued firstly. But as a starter it is advisable to start small before running big so as to control with time and again the funding shouldn't come from Loan.

The budget of a small business depends on what business it is. Cause there are thousands of small businesses. You can create a online clothing business (which is a small business) with around 300-1000 dollars
I don't see businesses started with such an amount in my country as a small but medium businesses. I think the answer to the poster question should greatly depend on the country and the exchange of dollar as at that time in order to get a satisfactory answers.

Personally, I do not think there is a perfect amount to start a small business or even a large business regardless. I think that to start a business, you need to have a business plan as a guiding factor and that plan will direct you on how much is needed.
There is no particular amount to start up. It all depends on how you want to start and the amount you have to push in. Business plan is a right guide to have an amount in mind.

I don't think that there is a particular set amount that one must have in order to start a business. All businesses are different and so each of them requires different resources when starting. One should therefore take time and make a proper plan that indicates just how much is needed to start that business. The size of the business to be started also determines how much capital is needed.

The amount is subjective. There are a wide option of businesses to startup, and each of them has its own different capital. So there is no definite answer to this question of yours. However, if one wants to start up a business, it is advisable to have enough capital in hand, preferably more that you need, you never can tell...

The amount of money needed to start is really depended on the kind of business you are trying to start as different businesses has different starting capitals. You can start your business just small and after that if it gets good and profits are considerable then you can probably already start slowly scaling it up big
