To start a business after the pandemic, what should be your perfect amount of investment? I think for any small scale business, 5000 USD equivalent money will be sufficient. Though I know, that will mostly vary according to the country's inflation rate.

Yeah, I do agree with you. The minimum start up capital for different business do vary from one business to another. So I agree with you, in that there ain't a fixed perfect startup capital for all business

If I were in my former country instead of Latin America, to open a small business, I'd have to consider, first of all, the compulsory accountant fees. If we are expert about online accounting, in this case we can choose an Android app doing all the services for us, that costs between 170 and 260 euros per year. If our activity is 100% online like mine, in my former country, maybe the only expenses, apart of the accountant fees, would be office stuff (for ex. a new notebook, a new printer, etc.). But after 5 years, no mind how small is our activity, we must add 4000 euros of compulsory VAT, to be paid even if our earnings are zero.

I agree with you. A perfect plan is what you need and not a perfect amount. Once you have made a plan and considered all the resources you need, you will just know the minimum amount you need.

Yeah it's always depending on the plan you have in mind. What you consider a small business might seem too small for some other people and may also seem as a huge business for another set of people. So the amount needed to start up a business do depend on your plan.

Well, I don't think there is any possibility that an individual would empty his bank balance inorder to start up a business. There are basic needs of life and you have to satisfy them all then the remaining fraction will be directed into doing business.

I am also saying it, that when we decide to start any business we arrange some extra funds to meet our basic needs. If we take money from a new business for personal expenses than it will weak financial condition of business

Business is a challenge on itself but It is already a problem planning for a 10 when you have the funding for 2. Am not discrediting big dreams but start from the 2 and make it to 10.
