I also agree that one need to build a quality brand if they are to be seen serious with what they are setting up.Then having a good capital as you have explained is a very huge advantage more especially if you want to be operating from home. Then knowing the traffic you will tap from is very essential to help establish yourself.

Above all one needs to ensure that they are working on something that is viable.

For example, if you are a good writer, you will find several writing jobs online. That alone is something that can be done successfully from the comfort of your home. I think working from home is way better than working outside your home. This is because one is in his or her comfort zone, one is his or her own boss, one doesn't take orders from anybody.
