Lately Bitcoin has been having a hard time retaking the $60k price mark. Experts say that before only the altcoin Ethereum was the one exerting pressure on Bitcoin but lately however Dogecoin has come into the fray and exerting much more pressure in Bitcoin. With the fall of bitcoin and the rise of Ethereum and Dogecoin people are now switching from bitcoin to ETH , DOGE and other altcoins as they think that these altcoins are already outperforming Bitcoin. Experts are also expecting that altcoins are going to be performing much more better in the next couple of months

With the rise of altcoins and lower transaction fees compared to bitcoin no wonder people are switching to altcoins, Though I doubt people would 100% dump bitcoin for other coins, I think they'll leave an ample amount of bitcoin

I guess people are realizing the fact that bitcoin may be slower in yielding them their desired profits when compared to how quickly those altcoins yield them.

They want to make some money fast from the rises and drops of the coin, like doge if you have bought some coins like a 3 months period back your current invesment could be 584% up like btc which is -23%.

One reason for that can be the high bitcoin fees , people are shifting towards cheaper cryptos like litecoin , bch , xrp. But still bitcoin remains in the number 1 spot of most liked coin by people.

Altcoins bring in more money than Bitcoin we can see how most of the shit coins continue to pump by making people more millionaires with little capital.

Personally I see bitcoin as driving factor to the existence of the Crypto currency market but not a money making assets any more especially for small Investors

I think it because people still invest in bitcoin of course as it's the first crypto it deserves this...but on the other side, it's outdated also... I think a lot of altcoins will go their own paths instead of not following BTC

I think that people invest more in altcoins now is that there is a trend of altcoin rise in the past 6 months, where many recorded their all time high

That is true it is only few people who are new to cryptocurrency or has enough capital to invest that gives more priority to bitcoin investments otherwise altcoins has been the money maker.
