What is PayPerContent?
PayPerContent is a site where freelancers can go to write different types of articles and content and get paid.
How do you sign up?
There isn't an actual sign up form on their site, instead they have a mini form that you fill out and send to their email to request the sign up information and have it sent to their email. Once you get the information they send you via email, you sign up that way and then are able to activate your account and get started.
How does it work?
Once your account is activated, you will go on your account dashboard and look for something interesting that you would like to write about. Once you find something that you want to write, you go on the instructions tab and see how they want you to write it. This can include keywords, heading, and how many characters they want. The site says that once your article gets submitted it goes into a queue for the client to look over it and it can take up to 72 hours. If your article was approved you will get an email notification telling you. If your article was rejected, you will get an email notification letting you know and if you are able to do a rewrite. If you do a rewrite, you will have 24 hours to submit that before you are ineligible to submit it. If you miss the 24 hour deadline for the rewrite you will not be able to get an extension.
You are allowed to do as many articles as you want, but they have to be one at at time. Also, once you find and choose the article you want to write, the system gives you exactly 8 hours to finish it otherwise it gets placed back into the collection portal and marked as available for someone else to claim it.
Regarding Rejections
The site says that you are allowed seven rejections within a month, and that you will receive a notification after each rejection. If you meet your seventh rejection and if your writing has not improved with the coaching of the client, then your account will therefore be deactivated. That is why it is important to pay attention to what the client wants and follow instructions accordingly.
How do they pay?
PayPerContent only pays if your article has been approved by the client that you wrote for. If your article was approved they pay by PayPal on the 10th and 25th of every month. So you need to make sure that your approved article is within the timeframe before cut off or your payment will not post until the next date, and that could possibly delay payment until the following month.
PayPerContent is a legitimate site for freelancers to be able to make extra money for writing original and compelling content for their clients.
