PayPal in partnership with online bank Synchrony Bank to launch a high yield savings account through a new app. It will enable users to access all of the company's digital financial products including crypto. Also, the new app comes with opportunity for customers to get up to 0.40% percentage annual profit on their savings, and can withdraw the earnings from the savings account to the PayPal balance.

Is this app available for worldwide users or not? My guess is that this app is only available for a select few countries, at least for now.

This is one area that PayPal needs to fix because we really need to have it in all countries since most earning sites pays via PayPal so it should be open to all countries working online

Other payment system need to rise and compete favourably by working extensively on PayPal weaknesses, it will be compelled to made it services available worldwide.

Whenever paypal is coming up with new features don't expect it to go down to tier 2 or 3 countries but US and UK.

Exactly, I totally agree with you if other payment means capitalize on their weak points and make it a lot better, I'm sure they will have a rethink. I hope this happen soon

They are actually not wanting to provide the service to all countries , I still wonder why they do so , sometimes I think it's unfavorable policy

That's what it is an unfavorable policy to especially the tier 2 and 3 countries. I hope the realize this discrimination soon and change their mode of operations

Once the unfavorable policy is too much they would leave the country without stress ,since some government actually don't want crypto then they go through the exchange platform

I heard about this too. The best bet is that PayPal make its services available worldwide. PayPal is banned in my country and so, it should make it services available worldwide.

It seems we are in the same shoe, as commendable as this project, but for the fact that it cannot be accessible by all countries, it doesnt enliven me

I think we would have issue if online platforms don't necessarily get Keen on always wanting transactions with PayPal. Maybe this change from platforms will help through this means

I really don't understand ,but in some countries PayPal as a means of payment is not available and again crypto currency is banned by banks ,it's really a tough one
