Owning a business with a partner

No matter how close you are with your friend there are times that you will disagree or have a rift. The best thing is to commit the business legally so that whatever matter that arise in near future it will be dealth with legally

exactly, and closeness is actually not the key for a successful partnership on business, worse is it may ruin your relationship with your friend, so this is not really a good idea.

No, unless you are short of funds or ideas. If I have enough money and not short of ideas I would not enter into a partnership and money is not the only reason. I am afraid that your partner would get away with your idea sooner than later and start his own business posing a serious threat on your own business.

hello in my self opinion! if i have money i would build a business alone , but if im short in cash, why ! not too have a business partnership with circle of friends! but thiers a pros and cons with that business! partnership

I think partnership based business do take time. And some of the time it can be really good to see how the partnership business can turn out in that context. I guess business requires some level of the effort there. And that sets a tone on that process.

Yes, but it's quite hard to find someone who is willing to invest more than you when you start a business. He/she would want some guarantees... there are lots of difficulties when it comes to finding a business partner.

It is actually natural to feel that way if you are investing into a business. Of course, anyone wants assurance that their investment will return with the business they chose to invest.

Yes, totally agree.
And let's not forget about the posibility on going different ways. Maybe both partners will be tempted to try something new and leave another behind. You need to make some guarantees if this will happen. For example, how will he be compensated?

For sure pros and cons are inevitble but with legal backing things can be secure and future disasters can be minimize but i can only partner for a huge business project like millon of dollars business not small business

This is one unwritten rule of a business that any one seeking for a partner in business should always consider at anytime an agreement to be a team is reached. All contract should be on paper,so that no one would feel cheated.

Partnership can be very interesting if you find very good and the right people cos you will be able to exchange idea and brainstom on lots fo things collectively and things get going smoothly

I think there should be an agreement about this matter before the partnership begins. If one wants to pull out his shares, it cannot be pulled out in short time, maybe a month or more would
be an enough time.

I would rather own a business by myself. Owning a company with a partner can lead with arguments and so on. On the otherhand, it can reduce workload. It's all about finding the right business partner.

It may reduce works for some aspects but then it may take too long for the decisions to the business because it will require both parties approval.

I think a lot of times being partner is kind of hard. all of the hardwork needs to be shared. and if done properly then things can be working good enough. I am just guessing that some of the time partnership can lead to more of an issue though.

Having a parting can even create more complication to the business because 2
minds cannot always agree with each other. Personally, I would like to do business alone where I am in control of everything, i feel having a partner will confuse me more to decide on many stuffs.

Using a partner can still works out with a trusted person, most businesses have survive because of good partners not necessarily because it was owned by one person. one just has to hope for Angels in human form.to partner with.intact one can get there fastest with the right people.

You better choose a trusted, good partner for your business, because if there are little plannings at the start, and the business doesn't go as expected, there might be frustrations not reaching financial goals. You have to find a way to avoid that, and be in good relationship with your partner.

Sometimes it is not the trust alone. Yes you can choose a trusted partner, but you can never be sure if the two of you will always agree on all business matters.

Well,in that case the partners can talk it through, the pros and cons,if they do not agree on something. They will take the best decision this way. Before choosing your partner,it is important to know,if you can understand each other and listen to each others opinion.
