On-chain analyst Willy Woo reports that over $60.75 billion worth of Bitcoin has not moved since 2013, with 2.6 million coins remaining untouched for the past 10 years. Fellow analyst Will Clemente points out that the amount of Bitcoin that hasn't moved in over a decade is now greater than the amount on exchanges. Meanwhile, analytics firm Santiment notes that the supply of Bitcoin and Ethereum on exchanges is decreasing rapidly, indicating a trend of coins moving to self-custody.

For the fact that the Bitcoin and Ethereum on exchange is decreasing rapidly really reflect the current nature of Bitcoin , it seems investors are not pumping in investment like before ,it's noticeable

all those Bitcoin I suppose are from wallets that lost their keys and have been forgotten which makes them not sell I guess, on the other hand the exchanges may be true, today just withdraw my BTC from my exchange to self-custody.

That's a very large sum! I believe most of these inactive wallets may ne due to the loss of wallet keys and accounts and possibly the death of an account or wallet holder. If using today's value, you'll have about 2 million bitcoins inactive.

I believe some of this sum is lost bitcoin due to forgotten keys or lost offline drives or crypto ledgers. Some of it might be lost through transaction fees.I also believe that the faith in exchanges is decreasing prompting bitcoin wthdrawals as we have many bankruptcies recently

This is about 10% of the total market cap of bitcoin which might he held by less than 0.1% of the people holding the bitcoin it shows how much impact these 0.1% can create in the market that it can become a selling stream indeed actaully.

This may cause the reason why Bitcoin has lost much of its value. When a coin is left idle, it will definitely lose its value. I want to believe that all these coins are from some traders that do not know how to trade of those that have lost their passwords among other things.

Mostly people lose their bitcoins very easily indeed that was the thing in the past now each person knows the value of bitcoin and if he is serious about his money he will never lost a lost of dollars from his errors and mistakes actually indeed

Lol you are just trying to Scam people out yourself and say that you want to help them get some knowledge in the first place do not try to Scam people instead try to work hard to earn and be happy from it actually indeed .

Yes, its possible to get all back and without any upfront payment. I found this really hard to believe until they did it. i fully recommend the experts blockchainrecall.com for those facing a scam issue or WhatsApp: + 1 (917) 267-2755
