❓ASK Offline Marketing vs Online Marketing?

I know the title it's kind of broad topic but let me tell you that I'm interested in driving my offline audience to my online programs. Do you have any experience in this field? Any successful ideas? Thnaks in advance!

Driving offline audience to online programs can be quite tricky, but there are a lot of ways to connect offline and online advertising, especially since customers as a whole are getting closer and closer to technology and the Internet, and, because of this transition, your final objective should be to make online marketing self-sufficient for your business.
Now, here are a few tips you can follow to redirect your offline audience to online advertisement:
  • Have as many online connections with your customers as possible: Just a website may not be enough: make yourself reachable everywhere. If a potential customer has heard the name of your product offline, you'll want to make sure they can find you online.
The main advantage of online marketing over offline marketing, aside from availability and costs, is customer service: they can ask you any question you have, anytime, without having to leave home. This is why you should make as many social accounts for your business as possible: Facebook is essential, and Twitter is also highly recommended (but we'll talk about it in one of the next points).
Once you do this, make sure to include all links on your advertisement, with your website on top of all of them; speaking of which, there's a rule you should follow before creating your website.
  • Use simple and easy-to-remember names and domains: Let's say you hear about a good deal on a product you had been seeking for a while on TV, at a friend's house. You hear the name of the company, and you think you should check it out when you come back home. The next morning, you force yourself to remember it, but you just can't get it down. Damn it. You lose the deal, they lose a customer.
Is there a way to avoid this? Of course: if you have a website, just make your domain easy to remember. Keep it short (no more than 3-4 words, unless it's a pun -they stick better- or a popular saying), you don't have to include the whole name of the company, if it's too long. Generally avoid acronyms, since they're easy to mess up, unless they form a word or something easy to recall. Use hyphens to separate each word, or don't use them at all: remember, make the chances of messing it up as low as possible.
  • Use QR codes: This is especially valid if you have started to advertise your product on billboards or newspapers (TV ads are too quick for that, but you can put it next to the website link or something). QR codes allow customers to quickly visit your website to get more informations or to save it for later. You can make one for free online on websites like GoQR.me.
You should also put one on your business card (it can link either to your online portfolio or to your business's website), or even on t-shirts, if you have some local promoters (like if you're running a stall at a local fair).
  • Create a catchy hashtag: Hashtags are a very popular trend nowadays, and you should definitely keep up with it. If you start spreading a hashtag for your business, you'll make it recognizable; also, if you create a funny hashtag, it may even go viral and give your business a huge boost.
  • Make it appealing for your typical online audience: If your product is aimed to a young audience, too, then you should also spend some time making your advertisement likeable to them. Make them funny -it will be more likely for them to share it with other friends online-, or even include some common, recurring jokes (use memes lightly, you don't want to look too unprofessional): again, word of mouth is crucial in marketing.

The other way around is easier - driving your online audience to offline. But, of course, it can be done beautifully with ample preparation. Get a survey of your specific audience. Have the details like age bracket, status in life, social standing, preferences in the product or services that you are promoting. After that, send an invitation clearly indicating your objective and that you are requesting their cooperation and support on the matter.

Hmmm... This is a tough one. But here's a few suggestions that I can give on how to drive offline audiences to online audiences:
  • If you are lucky enough to land a television campaign or even a newspaper ad or magazine ad, what you can do is add in your social media sites or your websites in the ad. Make your ad leave people wanting more. For instance, one popular brand here in my country, made a series of television commercials and the succeeding commercials can only be seen through their Facebook account. So you'd have to go online to see the ending of the ad. Pretty creative, right?
  • If you have created an event about your company, turn that into an opportunity to get social media shares. You can ask bloggers to go into your event and cover it in their blogs.
  • Consider the trend of "hashtags." If you have campaigns in the offline world, incorporate hashtags in them so people from the online world can also know about them.
I hope this helps!

Offline and online are getting to be connected somehow. I find that most offline stores have their ads in Facebook and other sites particularly in related forums. Although there are still the so called roving salesmen who knock on doors, I guess it will give way to online advertising very soon because the roving salesman is not effective anymore like in those days of the Electrolux appliances. So whether it is offline or online store, the trend is now online marketing thru online advertising.

Even online marketing is faster and straight to the potential customers I am quite skeptical about its level of effectiveness. Nowadays Internet is flooded with advertisements and various marketing techniques and in fact we are actually fed up of viewing ads. I think what maters is the level of creativity and innovation you put in to your products or service and way you advertise it whether offline or online.

There are many ways to advertise products online like social media sites, PTCs, Emails, SMS, Google Adword, Google Adsense and similar programs. But in most of the cases people usually view ads just to make money or not just because they show any sincere interest in the product or service. Emails and SMSs are already full with various advertising campaigns and users hardly listen to them.

Newspaper ads are still very profitable. Yes, of course, you can integrate online with offline advertising. You simply have to direct the customer to your email address, social media page, or domain name. However, when it comes to the email, it can be a good idea to get an autoresponder so the customer can be put on a list. However, if you don't want to put them on a list then the responding email should direct them to a social media page which can act like an email list.

As others have stated, there are various ways in order to advertise your business, be it online or offline. I would advise you to make your own website dedicated to your business and create a youtube channel. Then focus on buying ad spaces on popular websites.

Making sales with offline audience can be done in many ways you can start with the words of the mouth.Tell people, family and friends about your site, you can make them have the website name in case the go online they can check it out.

It can print or paste it in your complimentary card, this will enable to know about it.

If you have a signpost or banner on your business premises you can include your site address on it.

Are you publishing anything about your business on mass or print media, then don't forget to attach your website address to the advertisement.

Thanks for sharing! Getting traffic is one of the most challenging aspects of running an online business. Fortunately, there are plenty of ways to get traffic that don't involve Google AdWords or Facebook.

There is a difference between offline advertising and online. Online marketing is advertising by use of social and offline is handing out leaflets, newspapers, buisness cards, radio ads etc. It could be cheaper to market online since you won't have to print paper

A great way of driving offline audience online is to give incentive for those that will buy the product online.like an add-on product where one get a little product attached to the main products bought online or if possible those buying online have a rebate to encourage more online buying.

offline amd online marketing is somehow the same, coz therecso many stores or sellers that used internet or social media to promote or advertise their product.

In online marketing you can use many methods, which can benefit your business, like:SEO,which brings benefits to your webpage,to rank higher,Mobile marketing, which is also has many advantages, because there are huge percentage of people, who are surfing on mobile.

You can put your link together with the online advertisement that you have, like your newspaper advertisement, billboard ad etc. People that have seen your offline add can know your site.

These days there more online than offline marketing; online marketing is easy to reach more customers, while offline marketing is getting outdated but working as simple marketing for real touch.

As we can say that being active online has become a part of almost everybody's life, thereby it is very much recommended to do marketing online,as it will become globally known whatever product are you promoting.

I think online marketing has an edge because you can reach thousands of people in just a single click buy just using social media account. This will also allow you to be know and get offline marketing works too. You can promote your business online along with your telephone number and office/place.

There are some companies, who are still not aware of the online marketing, and do not know, how many advantages they miss. Some companies do not know, how to do proper internet marketing,to bring big profit of the invested sum,in that case it would be recommended to hire an expert in online marketing, who would take care of online promotion.

Well, I think those marketer are already busy doing advertising and promotion offline, and they do not have enough time
to extend their jobs online. Examples anre
those who are marketing a small stall of vegetable stand or fruit stand, but for as long as they are getting their quota or above it, I can still say that they are being successful in the field.
