People are carried away with the fantasy of working online simply because the kind of earning opportunities been advertise but if you don't have any basic skill that can sell reasonably online you shouldn't take online work as major source cos you will end up wasting your precious time you can engaged on offline to get good pay but if you have a reasonable sources of earning offline then you could use online to just top up or pay little bills.

Well,I can only accept this analogy if the job one will get offline is worthwhie because even offline slave masters stil pay peanuts and one still work long hours.At least online you're paid according to your ability not like offline that one wage remain same even with all the time wastage and long hours.If one should put in that same time and be serious online working 4-5 sites daily,then one can do better than offline jobs even with no skills. The problem freelancers has is lazy attitude,not showing seriousness with the jobs online.

No ,offline jobs are mainly dependent on skills and its even more harder and require more hardwork plus boss ,comparing to online its even good to work as if somebody not have any skills it can be learned by seing videos and using google -online is best to earn and do whatever you like ,how much you want to work,when you will work -at night or in day!!
Online jobs does not have any limitations wheras in offline every area has its limitations

As for me, I treat online work as part time although it is the only source of income I have now. I would still want to get a real life job and that is my goal for next year.

I won't say working online is wasting time because we are all different and if you will you get enough for time invested, then working online is good. Infact with online, there is a guarantee that you won't miss a site to help you earn. With offline jobs or let me just say real life jobs, you are not guaranteed to get a good satisfying job that will last. Also, some people have social problems and can't interact well with others. And so it is better for such people to work online in the comfort of their homes .

Well it is true its hard to earn money online, especially for people not living in the US or rich countries because the pay from the sites and offers from sites that can earn money is low for non US residents and rich countries. That is why it is only a sideline not a primarily income for me having a real job is better having to interact with real people instead of a computer in your front desk is good for me real life experience is better hehe

You are right. I want an experience for both offline and online job. It is good when we have both because we can choose our favorite and also learn to balance the introvert and extrovert life.

It is good to work online but the experience outside is way better in my opinion
