Following the rumours created by FUD , Indian Finance Minister , Nirmala Sitharaman when speaking to CNBC this morning, Sunday 06 2021 , said that there is no blanket ban on cryptocurrency in India .
She said that negotiations is ongoing with India reserve Bank and other financial institution.

This will be a source of hope to Indians .

This is very good news to the Indian crypto users. This coming from someone in the government will finally quell all rumours concerning the ban issues.

I see no reason why crypto should be banned in the first place , what how the numerous benefits it can serve, unfortunately it's been banned in my country

I still don't understand why government are acting so tough and strict on crypto currency issue even when they can hardly prevent citizens from trading or investing because there are several ways around this thing that prevent the government from stopping it

Well , they believe that they are acting in the best interest of the citizens and the country at large ,but not at all . They just care about themselves.

Yeah i think the government should at least see the benefit it offers before banning it i think , because banning it in the first place would really slow down crypto development in the country

India doesn't have high hash power in bitcoin neither do they have much bitcoin investors , I think the effect won't be felt on bitcoin generally .

I think it was banned in Nigeria too but we couldn't see any big dip in the coin , i guess people would always find an alternative in case of such case

Yes. Deep down most of their intentions are selfish and a plot for them to totally and completely be in charge of the total revenue entering and leaving the country. That is somehow a good thing if the government have the interest of the citizens at heart.

My annoyance is that they have not been putting measures to help improve the level of employment ,yet they want to block something that has been helping the youths
