According to Nairametrics, the peer to peer transactions in popular Exchange platforms like local bitcoin and Paxful by Nigerians engage in bitcoin transactions has increased by 15% since the CBN sent a ban notice all commercial banks allowing Crypto currencies transactions to naira. Nigerla P2P volume is $31 million while Kenya and Ghana are $12.1 and $8.4 million respectively.

Yeah this is good and it shows that people are not giving up in crypto trading , i just wish many exchange sites could make use of the p2p exchange on the platforms i think

I wish they can see this statistics and thus be aware that they can fully stop us from our cryptocurrency journey. Crypto has come to stay and no force will stop it .

Surely Nigerians will find their way which the government is fully aware of though the government felt they have protected the citizens through the ban

Wow. This Stat do exist. I'm not surprise. That is one of the safest way for people to withdraw their money? from cryptocurrency trading platform like Binance or coinbase. If not for this, we might be dealing with escrow groups only.
Peer to peer doesn't exist on coinbase for Nigerlans in fact Nigerians have high limitations on coinbase, they can only send and receive.

Isn't it funny , that the citizens that they want to protect now by banning cryptocurrency are the same citizens they watch being slaughtered by police and Terrorists ?

Well that is politics as part of the government but when we are talking about the financial security the cbn did the right thing in the wrong direction because they also have seek for opinion before taking the action otherwise there are people who are truly for victims of cryptocurrency fraud and payment of Ransom.

This is a good development as the government thinks that their ban on cryptocurrency will affect investors but bless God as the P2P system is thriving for our betterment.

This development is likely going to make the Central Bank of Nigeria to reverse the ban and switch to regulations which will be commendable.

You are right but at the same time, how has the ban reduced the rate of kidnapping and Ransome demand payments? Their actions is just like putting a band aid on a rotting wound without treating it first.

Nigerians are really creative people, they always find a way were this no way, the crypto ban has change the mode of operation in bitcoin transaction.

I'm glad to hear about this. Even though the government ban banks not to be tolerating crypto currency transactions, but the citizens have proven the government wrong by finding their own alternative ways of dealing with it.

I am into crypto but using LUNO. with the recent ban on banks from aiding transactions of crypto by CBN, still yet to gain grounds on the use of binance app that uses P2P. Will be glad if someone can guide me.

Lol this is to show how corrupt the system is , i think the government said they were actually banning crypto currency to help the naira against dollar , but right now the dollar rate is rising

It's reports like this that proves further that the ban placed by the Nigerian government on crypto wasn't the right move, it's better to be regulated since it's trade is still active despite ban

Isn't it absurd that they believe that banning cryptocurrency will make the Naira to rise . They have not done anything that will give Naira value.

Exactly, this just further shows the caliber of leaders we have. No effort for improvement but rather still stiffling the efforts of the youths still, hopefully with time things would change

The trading volume via P2P of different platforms will continue to increase because more people are Investing into Crypto currencies in Nigeria and the market is growing.
