What is NiceHash?
NiceHash is the largest crypto-mining marketplace according to the website with statistics like: 600,000+ active daily workers or miners, 250,000+ daily active NiceHash miner users and 2 million + orders served. Before they're just crypto currency hash power broker but now they have integrated a marketplace that connects sellers and buyers of hashing power using the sharing economy approach.

Company Behind
The company operating this crypto currency marketplace is named H-bit, d.o.o. with physical address at Radvanjska cesta 128, 2000 Maribor, Slovenia. The company is owned by Martin Škorjanc,CEO (Chief Executive Officer) , who is the father of Matjaž Škorjanc who is the CTO (Chief Technology Officer) of Nicehash, a father and son tandem, so NiceHash we can say is family-owned business with VAT ID of SI: 28401280 and Company No.of 6633994000.

Technical Specifications:
They got their domain name registered on 2014 from Godaddy, LLC, using Domains By Proxy, LLC for the domain whois anonymity services and using the DDOS attack protection services from Cloud Flare, Inc.

Making Money
You need to mine so those with old accounts with the old version need to specify on their login page that they have their own old account so it can be transferred to the new platform with integrated market place. You may also refer sellers or buyers on their marketplace. In order for you to mine, you need to have either an intel motherboard or an NVIDIA graphics card or preferably both of them installed hardwares on your computer. You need to install both an image (.img) file sized at 528 mb and the flash tool. Nicehash now has been converted into an entire operating system that is contained in the .img tool choose one that is compatible with your operating system. It is easily installed if you have a flash drive which has a size of at least 2gb for the optional .temp files that will be saved on it. You can mine bitcoin, bitcoin cash, etherium, ripple, litecoin, zcash, dash, stellar, eos, tether, bitcoin SV, chainlink, BAT, zrx, hot, omiseGO, and the latest crypto-currency added is Augur. From start of default, your buyer account is disabled and you need to enable it with verification link that will be sent to your email address.

PROS and CONS:

PROS:

- It's still a pool that accepts free workers or miners.

CONS:

- If you plan to mine serious amount of crypto currencies you have to rent a VPS - virtual private servers.

- Finding such vps that allows GPU mining is quite difficult not during the old days where their mining accepts cpu mining and you can run it on your computer.

- GPU mining only

- Minimum of 2GB for the ram of VPS and minimum 30gb space

New update. Nicehash is back online with some updates:

1. The security breach: what happened?

As has been widely reported, NiceHash's security system was breached in a sophisticated attack in the early morning of 6 December. Our payment system was compromised and the entire contents of the NiceHash bitcoin wallet were stolen – around 4,700 BTC.

Our investigation to determine the nature of the attack and its impact is ongoing, with the support of police investigators and a cyber forensic team, and while we want to be as open and transparent as we can, for obvious reasons we can't provide all the details of the breach.

We are very sorry for any inconvenience that the hack may have caused and have committed every resource in response to the issue since we became aware we had been victims of the security breach.

2. How are you going to prevent such events in the future?

We have taken a number of specific measures to make the system safer. We have redesigned our payment system and thoroughly revised and upgraded security procedures from the ground up. The redesigned payment system is now handled with extra security measures - dual channel approach with manual creation and manual confirmation of every transaction that leaves our system. Withdrawals are manually confirmed once per day at 12:00 AM CET.

3. Why is my current balance 0?

Following the security breach, all funds held in the NiceHash bitcoin wallet were stolen. On our new dashboard we have sought to show both the old balance, and the current balance.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: If you are using NiceHash Miner, please update your wallet address immediately. All NiceHash wallet addresses have been reset.

4. How will you restore my old balance?

Now that the site is back online, you are free to lease, mine and make money once more. Our community is very important to us and given the loyalty of our users, we want to make sure that everyone is fully reimbursed after what happened. This has been under discussion since the day of the hack.

We have now been able to reserve the funds required to restore balances from a group of international investors in our business. The exact date of reimbursement for old balances will be announced by January 31, 2018. We need this interim period to ensure all legal paperwork is processed correctly, so please be patient while we do this.

Please also note that balances lower than 0.0001 BTC will be written off; apologies for any inconvenience.

We have considered a number of ways to help our community to cover the stolen funds and we feel that this is the most appropriate way to ensure that everyone is back in business as soon as possible.

5. What happened to balances that were deposited after the breach?

All funds that were deposited after the breach should be safe. Those funds will be automatically sent back to your address.

6. Where can I get additional help or ask more questions?

Please submit a support ticket or send us an email to [email protected]. Please do keep in mind that we are facing and increased volume of requests at this time, for obvious reasons, and it will take us longer than usual to respond. We are committed to answering all of your questions, so please be patient.

Also it's been mentioned by the dev that the original BTC balance will be returned. So if you lost 0.1 BTC they will pay you back 0.1 BTC and not the USD value of it when you lost it. (since btc values almost doubled since the hack).

I was really wondering these days whether those people will get their money back or not, so happy to hear these news. it is also satisfactory for them that they will get their full BTC balance back, I find it logical after all.. hopefully they won't get hacked again tho

I started using this site / program a little while ago, but I have liked it. I found the program well done, visually beautiful. Too bad my computer is still weak for some expressive gain, but I plan on buying a better computer to make money from that sort of thing.

What is your configuration and what have you gained from this program?

My cpu is old, i5 4770. My GPU is a 1080ti which makes about $5/day if I leave it on 24/7.

I only started in November, and they shut down for a while after the hack. So just started back up again. I had only made 2 withdrawals of $10 each prior, but right now minimum is $100 (since I can't make a coinbase account).

Wow it is nice to mine with gpu but do you know how the electricity charge per day and how many what the profit to running 24/7?

I'm at 33Kw/hr and I still profit. Hard for me to say how much electricity goes up since my computer is always on 24/7 anyways for work.

On a side note, they just dropped the minimum payout from 0.011 to 0.0055 today because transactions were clearing up.

Thanks for sharing the payment bro it motivates me and I am also thinking to buy a GPU that in list of nicehash I have solar in my village and I am thinking to mine with solar.

* Since I have a slow laptop and when I try online mining tools I get messages like this "amount is really low" and also because I am very inexperienced and the news about being hacked, SCAM or NO SCAM, I am not willing to try this. I'll pass. Appreciate this review.

Currently Hashflare is not paying out since maintenance fees are higher than the incoming coins mined. All contracts will most likely be cancelled without refund within a month, unless BTC skyrockets.

NiceHash is a great marketplace to buy and sell Hash power in my opinion.
The earning is flexible, means its based on real crypto mining calculator.
But the best is its paid with:BTC: and withdraw fee only 10k satoshis.
You can withdraw to any wallet, exchangers wallet, faucethub, etc
Minimum to withdraw 200k satoshis, you can even reinvest your earning by buying hash power of any crypto mining that will profitable later, but becareful you might losing instead of gain profit from it.

They have a lot of problems in the past two days and there is a lot of complains.
Legal problems on the horizon, because they are not paying the users, even if they are mining...
Kryptex, CudoMiner, BetterHash...?

I'm sorry, this for me is an important question thai I need to know. Also because for the first time I find a site that offers the possibility of using my machine as a real Bitcoin extractor.
And then, since for the first step there, I am asked to download the extraction software, I immediately ask this: The work that my machine which would perform, which not have high performance, could lead it to be subject to damage caused by the stress that CPU / GPU are they subjected?
Thank you.

Hello people of BMF,
I am trying to find out if NiceHAsh miner is still a viable option for crypto mining.

I own a PC with an nvidia gtx 1650. Kinda bad but you gotta do it with what you have youknow.

So Is NiceHash the best mining software or are there better alternatives?
